  • Good quality for good price
Flavor Name: Grape Size: 90 Servings (Pack of 1)
good product. You know what you're buying, it follows through with the ingredients it has. This review is more about the flavor. I think flavor is more important than people give it credit for. If you don't like a flavor, you're going to dislike drinking it by nature, and when you do choke it down, it puts you in a bad mood for a good while. On the contrary, the flavor of this product is pretty pleasant. I'd give it a 7/10. I enjoy drinking it enough that I've completely phased out store-bought flavoring packets in favor of this product. I do about 4/5 of a scoop in a 26-28 oz water bottle which is plenty for me. ... show more

  • Smells not great, but I'm not inhaling it, so...
Flavor Name: Unflavored Size: 90 Servings (Pack of 1)
I read so many reviews about how bad this stuff smells. I know it's subjective, but it's not as bad or dramatic as you'd think from reading the reviews. I bought their glutamine and BCCA. Mixed them in with my protein powder and didn't like the taste. This morning I mixed just the glatamine with the shake....and that is what caused the funky taste. I got home from work and mixed in the BCCA and didn't notice any change in taste of the drink. So, while the BCCA has a little smell if you stick your nose in it, it doesn't mess with the taste of the your drink....but that glutamine sure does. I don't know of anyone buying this stuff for the taste and smell anyway. ... show more

  • Tastes good
Flavor Name: Watermelon Size: 60 Servings (Pack of 1)
I am very picky and can’t find many sports drinks or protein shakes that I can tolerate. This one is very good. I do like sweet stuff but I have to but a little more water than it says because the flavor is a little strong at the recommended dilution. But a couple more ounces and some ice and I can drink it on the way to the gym or during my workout and it’s like a refreshing drink. ... show more

  • Delicious!
Flavor Name: Pineapple Size: 30 Servings (Pack of 1)
A nice light pineapple flavor! Delicious and mixes easily. Helps me drink a bit more water. Noticed increased alertness. I only drink 1 scoop with water in the morning. Just add to bottle of water. shake to mix and drink.

  • Great product overall
Flavor Name: Raspberry Lemonade Size: 30 Servings (Pack of 1)
The flavor is pretty bitter, I mixed it with a collagen powder as well which minimized the bitterness from the bcaa. Overall I did like this brand bcaa powder, I noticed more energy to pull through an hour workout at the gym. I do recommend this product.

  • Affective but Tastes Bad
Flavor Name: Unflavored Size: 90 Servings (Pack of 1)
I had a TBI recently, and my neurologist said to take this to help with my brain injury. It works for the recovery, but it tastes so bad. I haven't tried the flavored ones, but I would assume they're much better than this one. If you're gonna drink this, you're gonna want to put flavoring into it, put it in a smoothie, or just buy the flavored ones. ... show more

  • Great Flavor, Excellent Ratios, & Quality Ingredients! Return Buyer!
Flavor Name: Green Apple Size: 120 Servings (Pack of 1)
Awesome price and no weird additives! I have been losing weight/in calorie deficit (CICO) since March 15, 2017 and had my weight loss goal set at 1.5lbs per week (which is a -750 calorie deficit per day). I really dislike protein powders and don't eat a lot of meat, so I decided to add a BCAA to my day to *hopefully* help prevent muscle loss from dieting + working out. I am working out 5 days per week for about 2 to 3 hours daily. I take mostly strength-training classes (again....to preserve muscle while losing fat) mixed with a bit of cardio here and there, so I am burning a lot of energy and calories. This BCAA appealed to me because the 2:1:1 ratio is exactly what you're supposed to look for and typically only find in high-priced versions. On top of that, most of the expensive ones contain things like caffeine, green tea, and long list of "speedy" ingredients that really aren't necessary and that I didn't want. The fact that this contains Ashwaganda was a bonus because I've taken it before and it's very mild and only seeks to improve mood. I also liked the fact that this offers a variety of flavors/no flavor and is *allegedly* calorie-free. I drink this everyday in a concentrated form before my workouts...and then I take the remainder of the concentrated mixture (about 3 scoops total) and add it to my 64 ounce water and just sip on the diluted version throughout my workouts. I continue to add more water until I'm done working out and finish up whatever is left about an hour post-workout. Although I HATE fake sweetners, this one is easy to get used to compared to others. I got the Green Apple and it's basically a VERY SWEET Kool Aid. I don't know why the sweetness is quite so high...but the flavor is really tasty and adds well to water. There is no smell other than a muted "apple" scent and this doesn't typically irritate my stomach. Although BCAA's often cause nausea if you drink a lot DURING workouts, I found this only happened to me the first few days and then I adjusted the amount and my body also adjusted to having it. It only happened during extremely intense cardio workouts that sometimes make me a little queasy anyway. This is also very easy to mix. Although I have shaker bottles with the ball....I don't use them for this. I just shake it up in a regular water bottle the night before and stick it in the fridge for morning. No stirring or blender bottles necessary. What I don't quite understand is how it can be truly "calorie free". I've done some light reading and discovered that BCAA products don't have to list the calorie count as long as the calories *per gram* are less than 5. I hope that's not the case here because 5 calories per gram means that 1 scoop (7 grams) is about 35 calories. And since the recommended serving is about 20 grams per day...that quickly adds up to nearly 100 calories. To those not looking to lose weight or "cut"....that seems like no biggie. But even if you're drinking a low dose, 100 calories is a whole lot more than "calorie free". So I WOULD like to know if this is truly "calorie free" or the calorie count just isn't required due to the way the serving sizes are listed. Mind you...what I read could be total BS, but it's something to keep in mind if you're working out for weight loss or cutting and adding these calories without realizing it. Anyway, overall I'm thrilled with the taste, performance, and price and have ordered twice since my first purchase. I'm definitely pleased and although making muscle "gains" is nearly impossible while in deficit, I'm seeing nice muscle definition after losing 25 of the total 34 pounds I was looking to lose. I feel like this has been helpful both in preserving my existing muscle....as well as aiding in the DOMS (the sore muscles afterward) by just enough to notice. That's the best you can really expect from any BCAA and at this price point, the performance is incredible. Highly recommend and will continue to purchase (though if anyone knows about the calorie thing I mentioned, I'd love to hear back about it). Awesome product! ... show more
