The overall design is wonderful, but poorly implemented. The screws on both side tables repeatedly fall out. The first photo shows my solution: installing flat-head #8-32 x 1.5 inch machine screws, countersunk on the top, so it stays smooth. The second problem, especially if you are using it on carpet, is the small casters. It tips easily, and rolls with great difficulty. I invested in 3" casters, mounted on the bottom frame (drilling all the way through). The existing caster holes will NOT support larger casters! (See 2nd picture) One more thing: (see 3rd picture) the front rail/pencil holder is not long enough, if you want to prevent papers, books, whatever, from sliding off. I added an additional strip of sanded wood under that rail, the full length of the center table. Same size screws, except longer, to utilize the same holes in the table and rail. After all that, as I said, definitely could have been engineered better. But, at least, after my improvements, it is perfect! HA! ... show more

I bought this for my husband to use for his laptop when he has his recliner footrest up. This table can be adjusted for both width and height so it works beautifully for him. The only improvement I'd like is bigger caster wheels and maybe a bottom lip on the side bookshelf. It was very easy to assemble and I was able to do it by myself. ... show more

    • Too cumbersome.
My son had foot surgery and was stuck in bed. He needed to do his online classes, so we thought it would be helpful. In the end, it was rather cumbersome. It also does not roll easily. It takes two people to roll it to the end of the bed. Nice idea, but just didn’t work well for us.

I bought for grand daughter for her bday. She loves it and has enough room for her lap too and whatever else she needs for school work. I would recommend for kids especially ones that do not have room for a desk.

    • Arrived scratched and broken
Product came out of a undamaged box looking like it had been dragged behind a car. The frame was scratched and bent and the wood composite top was scratched and cracked. I feel like i got ripped off. I would try and pack this mess back up and return but honestly i don't have the energy.
