Although I attended the storage to 128 GB, there are APP that only work with the internal storage, otherwise I would give a five stars. I love the way it is made for little kids and the educational games, books, and others. I can monitor everything my child does. I don't recommend it for people who live outside the USA, because they cannot take advantage of all the features, at least they leave in a country with access to all Amazon benefits. ... show more

I was one of those people who was not sure if a Kindle was right for them; I love the feel of "real" books in my hand, but when the Kindle Fire was available at a very attractive price, I decided to give it a try. For several years, my entry level Kindle became my go-to reading device. Unfortunately, it ran its course and it was time to replace it, so I upgraded. What a difference! The screen-size and responsiveness to not even compare to the older model. It is well worth the investment for any serious reader. my four year old has broken a few iPad screens in her day. We decided to go with a cheaper option and get her the Amazon kids tablet. We decided to also purchased a screen protector given her history. It’s been about a year and so far so good.
