Great machine, we have had ours for about 1 year and have only had to replace some gaskets in brew head. I advise you look up where your closest Official Nuovo Simonelli repair shop is located for reference. Ours was repaired and maintained fir less that $100 and they say you need to replace those brew head gaskets about every 6 months with daily use. This is our first espresso machine, it’s a bit annoying to dial in the shots and the flavor of the espresso is on a spectrum based on grind size, etc. Be sure to back flush this machine regularly. If you don’t want to play with dialing it in, a super automatic machine would be better for you. For us, we enjoy the craft of it and the authentic experience. We are drinking cappuccinos like we are in Italy again. Some have complained about the pressure not producing good extraction and they add a PID. We like the flavor well. But be sure you spend the $$$ and get yourself a good grinder to go with it. The grinder is more important than machine to get even grind and good extraction. The milk steamer is great on this machine, we steam almond milk and oat milk perfect and foamy. Overall we love our Oscar ❤️ Best decision for us and goes from steaming to pulling shots fast between. If you’re looking to start a small coffee shop or have something for vendor events this is a great option! I am thrilled with this machine and the consistency. Our first vendor event this pumped out over 100 drinks with one order being 16 back to back. This did not skip a beat!

Great machine. I am so glad I bought it. What can I say; the power and taste of a coffeeshop in your own home. Easy to hook to a water source to bypass the use of the reservoir as well.

The Oscar 2 coffee maker proved defective, producing bad and cold coffee. We did work with the seller technical support with no resolution. Despite contacting Amazon, buyer protection was lacking, leaving the seller to deduct $800 for the faulty item. The overall product quality is criticized, along with very poor customer service from both the seller and Amazon. Not recommended purchasing this product, highlighting a significant financial loss during the return process. I gave a one-star review to just allow me write my review and painting a negative picture of both the seller and Amazon. ... show more

Package was split wide open on arrival; thin box, but machine seemed ok. The water tank didn't fit/work without pulling n pushing it around- just unsnug, but put up with it. After a week the steam wand flopped loosely, but still worked so we dismissed it. 2 weeks later was silent n stopped pushing out coffee. The steam wand still worked tho,lol. I sent it back but got shorted on the refund.=$374.03... We have the machine for three months and have been able to make 4 cups of cappuccino espresso. The repair guy (who is awesome) replaced the heating element, adjusted the pressure, changed the water chamber. Took the machine away 2 times, reinstalled and it didn't heat. It doesn't make consistent coffee pours when you push the button. Would not recommend this machine for anyone looking for a good machine. I hear there haven't had problems, but they even had to drill the hole larger for the water. I think we have a lemon, and the company has not replaced it, just keeps repairing it, which is annoying for a brand new machine, ... show more

    • I read it in the manual that it takes 15 minutes to heat it up in order to make a good espresso.
Big machine: however is overpriced, it doesn't come with anything even the picher, you have to buy yourself separately , for that amount of money manufacturer at least could include that one.
