I needed a stand for regular dumbbells and purchased this to see if it would work. I have hex type. They worked fine. I added some rubber adhesive pieces to the metal where the weight would sit. Love the stands, they are great for holding the dumbells and look pretty good. They are sturdy, and easy to assemble. Only thing i dont like....the pricetag to way too high.

The stand is rock solid and fits the Nuobell dumbbells perfectly. My home gym feels like a special place with this stand - as opposed to having my dumbbells rolling around on the floor. One suggestion during assembly to ensure that the stand lays flat on the ground without any wobble: 1) keep the 6 screws holding the crossbar a little loose during initial assembly, and 2) tighten the other screws. then 3) put your body weight on the stand's floor bars to force the stand to lay flat without wobbling, and finally,excersize 4) tighten the 6 screws on the crossbar. ... show more

Researched what to get for so long - finally decided to order these along with the stand. The are truly amazing. Very high quality, adjustment is so smooth, they feel just like individual dumb bells - be it 10lbs or 80lbs - just great. Stand is very sturdy - mine is sitting on concrete floor and does not move at all. The saying of you get what you pay for is true - are these expensive - absolutely but anyone who wants 5-80lbs of dumbbells -- get these ! ... show more

The media could not be loaded. Do you get the stand or not for your Nuobells??? For me, YES!!! Very convenient to pulling the weight out of the holders and putting it back up to avoid repeat kneeling bending, etc., if the holders were on the ground instead. And this stand, like the first model, supports the 50lb or 80lb nuobells. Also, after researching the stands, I found that it’s best to go with the one that has a cross bar in the middle for added support compared to the one that stands like an “I”, usually gray in color and a little cheaper in price, but everyone says it rocks…the cross bar one (this one) is sturdy!! Really glad I chose to get this stand!!
