Finally, I took the plunge & I’m happy to say the rug was beautiful & perfect! No off odors, no dirt - just like you would expect of anything new. It’s beautiful, unrolled nicely and the texture is gorgeous. However, there’s quite a bit of dirt on the inside of the rug, packaged with it, not on the outside. Additionally, I can see why this rug tore apart for others, the stitching appears VERY delicate. I’m planning to layer this with another rug on top so I’m not too worried about the direct wear it will take, but if this was the only rug in my entry I can’t imagine it would last very long at all. ... show more

I was hesitant to purchase this jute rug. I’ve owned two in the past and didn’t have a good experience. ( not this rug.) I recently moved and wanted a boho chic design. With that said, I decided to look for a round rug that would go with my decor. I saw this one and read the reviews and purchased. Best decision I made. The rug is soft not like your typical rough scratchy jute rug. You can walk comfortably on it. The color is perfect. Here’s a tip: when I rolled the rug out, it had wrinkles and the edge would lift up. I stood in the middle of the rug and pulled the rug outward by the edges. First of all let me say the rug is very beautiful to the natural eye. It definitely matches and goes perfectly with my room. However it has many many flaws and isn't made extremely well. A whole on the edge, frayed edges, white thread. See the pics of the issues. I do love that is a softer weaving material. Not hard like other rugs of this nature.
