The media could not be loaded. I bought this rug because I needed something heavy for my dogs to come in and out of their doggie door . All other rugs would bunch up when they did their slide to rush outside. Lol. 😂 This rug is very pretty, does not have an odor like some grass rugs and so far so good on the durability. Another plus is the rug does not suck up into the vacuum. It’s heavy enough to stay down and has not shedded. My dogs are chewers and they have not chewed this rug at all… another bonus ! This is a great area run in my foyer. I ordered a larger one for the family room as well. However my roomba is tearing up the edges and today I saw a burn mark on it. So beware if you use a roomba on the regular.

I really want to give this a higher rating because the rug looks good overall. But the edges are fraying everywhere around it. When I went on Amazon to request support (like, give me a partial refund since the item is damaged), it directs me to the NuLoom website. When I wrote to customer support there, they said that they can't do anything because it's an Amazon purchase. So, it's a catch-22 on either end. My only option is to return it, which I guess I'll do unless they reach out to me from this review. If they reach out, I'll update my rating because I'm willing to keep this rug, just not for full price, given its defects. ... show more

This hand woven rug is exactly what I was looking for. It's absolutely beautiful! After walking over a few times, it becomes soft under your feet. There was a slight smell after the initial unpacking, but it dissipated in a very short time. The only thing that was annoying was the sticker/label they affixed to it which was very hard to peel off and whatever adhesive they used was extremely sticky and left a residue. I tried using nail polish remover, but it didn't work. So I just flipped it over to avoid stepping on that part. Other than that, I love this natural woven rug. ... show more

We have this rug layered under another rug so only about 2-3 inches around the edges are actually exposed. It’s not in a high-traffic area but its already coming unraveled and it SHEDS so much. I moved our sofa a few days ago (the sofa isn’t on the rug, but a couple of inches away) and 90% of the canister was filled with fibers/threads. I cannot imagine having the entire rug exposed. You can see in the photos where it’s tearing apart, and the stitching is bad too, but didn’t photograph well. Unfortunately I’m outside of the return window so its $80 down the drain. Skip this rug for something that’s better quality. We have a different brand jute runner at our front door and it’s gets walked on ALL DAY and is in great condition. ... show more
