I ordered this runner rug on sale mainly for my dog - he passes through an area of my home to go outside for bathroom breaks, and he has lately been afraid to walk on our bare tile (it's slippery for him). The rubberized backing is great and keeps the rug in place. It also came folded and nicely wrapped, and although the folding creates creases, I'm pretty pleased with how flat this lays right out of the box. The color and design are true to pictures, and the "see it in your room" function helped me feel confident it would work. So far, my dog feels more confident, which was my main goal. The rug is low profile which is great for cleaning and maintenance in our pet friendly house. Found this at a great price also! For the price point this rug is quite excellent. I have a cat with a chronic condition that causes a lot of vomiting and with a 2000 square foot home this little 5x8 rug is unfortunately his favorite place to barf. I have shampooed it too many times to count and washed it in the big washer at the laundromat about 10 times now and through everything it looks really great. Despite a little regular wear and tear, a lot of foot traffic, a few other spills and s second cat who insists on using it for a scratching pad a few times daily, this rug has held up to a heap of abuse very well. Stains come out easily and I have had zero problems vacuuming it with our Dyson stick vac, as another reviewer mentioned difficulty with a Shark vacuum. I am considering purchasing a rug for another area of our home and a few runners. I would absolutely buy this rug again too if I needed to replace it but it’s doing so well I feel we really don’t need to! Again, this is a beautiful, good quality rug for a nice low price. Easy to clean and maintain, washes and holds up well. Not sure what more anyone could want. (Pic is from this morning. Just washed it at the laundromat last night to be well cleaned and beautiful for Christmas morning.) ... show more

The rug stays put on hardwood floor. Low pile and comfortable with bare feet. Still some folds after a week. Yet it is colorful and worth the price for a children's play room. No odor.

I'm very pleased with this rug. I know the reviews are a bit mixed, but I feel like I understood what I was likely getting before purchasing. It is very thin, yes. But it's soft enough to walk on and it stays in place. It is obviously a printed design vs woven. I think it's cute. I've had it for a couple weeks now. It had a couple stubborn creases from shipping that just didn't come out. I ended up needing to wash it already (thanks cats, but I guess that's why I bought a washable rug). It went through my old agitator washer just fine, and then into the dryer on a low heat setting. It was still a bit damp when I took it out, so I just laid it flat to air dry the rest of the way. It washed up beautifully and all the creases are gone. I will say, I ordered the 6x9--I'm not sure a bigger rug would fit in my washer. It also comes with thorough care instructions. My only small complaint is that every spec of anything shows up on it. Part of that is due to it being so low pile, and then also because it's white. So it is what it is. But on the other hand, it makes you realize that maybe you ought to be vacuuming a bit more often lol. It vacuums up very well for me, and doesn't get sucked up into the brushroll or anything. ... show more

I bought this rug hoping it would go with my new rooms to go couch. And it’s perfect for my living room. It has just enough warmth to go with my orange couch, and fits with my southwest/boho/industrial Austin style. For reference it is the 9x12 and my living room is 12x14. It is thin, which I don’t mind because it’s just me, a single women who takes her shoes off when she gets home. If you have dogs, children, or a family member who wears their dirty work shoes around the house, might need something a lot thicker and sturdier. Also might need rug tape so it doesn’t slide around on hardwood floors. Update- it’s been about 8 months since I bought this rug and I personally am still happy with it. I haven’t tried to throw it in the wash though, I live in an apartment and I think it would destroy my washer and dryer. Vacuums pretty easily on my vacuums carpet setting. If it was thicker or fluffier I do not think it would be so easy to vacuum. For the size and design, I personally can’t complain. Especially for a big rug on a budget. And I’ve had no quality issues since owning it, it is in the biggest space in my apartment so I do walk on it constantly. I did buy rug tape because I was worried about it sliding, but the weight of my couch and entertainment center weighs it down completely. If you had this rug with no furniture on top, you would definitely need something to keep it in place. Hope this review helps someone out there contemplating buying this. ... show more
