My daughter exclusively used Dr. Brown bottles, she is now 8 months, I felt no need to continue the dr. Brown system (to many parts to clean) I tried different bottles and she refused.     • Great for an exclusively bottle fed baby
These were great for my 9 mo old to start formula on. I would not recommend them to a new baby that is also nursing as the flow is quite a bit faster. It really helped my older baby because she could finish eating in a just a couple minutes versus 10 min with a smaller nipple. I’ve only used them for the fast flow function, based on how hard they suck, so I don’t know if they are really able to be used for a newborn with a slower flow. ... show more

    • The Y nipple is hard to work with
These bottles are good. They have a strip on the side that indicates if the content is to hot, which is nifty. I ordered stars, but I got a completely different style. I'm not upset, a bottle is a bottle, but there was that mix up. My only complaint with these bottles is actually the nipple. It is a Y shape and is made to adapt to your baby's sucking needs. However, if you have a baby that is used to breast feeding their sucking power if more advanced and that Y shape will break through faster than the baby should have it. It caused a lot of gagging because the milk was coming out faster than my baby could handle. I bought new nipples that were age based and it fixed the problem. ... show more

They hold very well. Don't slip the print is nice the nipple is a great fit in babys mouth. And not air in baby tummy. I love them.

    • My son won't drink from any other bottle.
The nipple on this bottle is my son's favorite. I've tried purchasing other types of bottles and he won't drink from them. Glad I can easily find these on Amazon.

    • Allowing the baby to control is nice theorically
Nuk bottles allows the baby to control the flow of milk which is one of the reasons I purchased this bottle. It sounds wonderful but in reality isn't as great as it sounds. Starting my newborn on this bottle was the starting of a nightmare. My newborn drank his bottle down too fast and ended up vomiting almost 1/3 of the bottle up even though we had sat him up after his feeding; and suffered probably from a stomach ache, fussing the entire night until 4am where he finally fell asleep after crying for almost the entire night and early morning. Maybe with newborns that a little more impulse control and/or less likely to gulp an entire bottle in 10mins, this bottle could be good. ... show more
