The setup was a bit involved, requiring several tools, and not everything fit together perfectly, but a little wiggling and an extra hole here or there was all it took to get this guy assembled. Maybe an hour start to finish. Installation was a bit trickier though requiring at least 2 people. The very thin paneling is great because it's not very heavy. To help other customers like myself who rely on the manufacturer's provided information to order a specific size, I wanted to advise that for the projection, you cannot rely on the "Projection" measurement listed on Amazon or what you see on NuImage's own specifications. I ordered a 1500 series (72 x 42) awning but after receiving the awning to my surprise the projection is only approximately 37.5 inches. Be aware that the awning’s projection is measured as I have indicated with red line in my picture and based on the curvature of the sides not the distance from the wall to the front. I wish I knew this before I placed the order. Now my projection is short by 4.5 inches. Otherwise, the unit seems to be well made. NuImage’s staff were very professional when I called them to inquire about the issue I ran into with the projection dimension. I can update my review after the installation which could be a couple weeks from today. I could've given this review 5 if all indicated measurement were accurate. ... show more

Small screws holding everything together needs to be a little bigger because the frame is too flimsy to take the stresses in my opinion. I'm not too convinced it will do well under snow loads over years of use. It should however be just fine combating rain and sun without environmental degradation. It looks ok and bit RV like but it's by far the better choice on the market to suit our application. ... show more

Vi con mi esposo el video de la compania y luego intentamos armarlo. Logramos el ensamblaje en 1 1/2 horas. Debido al mucho viento dejamos la instalacion para el dia siguiente lo cual fue 35 minutos para la instalacion. Lo instalamos en la puerta del patio sobre el segundo balcon, quedo fuerte y le agrego una mejor vista a la residencia. Estoy bien contenta con el producto. ... show more
