The media could not be loaded. This machine makes the BEST ice on the planet... NUGGET ice. Its a nice size machine and makes ice relatively fast. My only issue is that it makes some noise. It’s not the right shape, but if you let it melt for a little bit, it becomes the perfect ice. It comes out kind of a hard square shape. Which I wouldn’t say is a bad thing, but it is chewy which is good if you like to crunch on it, it’s not too hard. My only critique with the design is that it only allows for so much ice because it stops once the ice has accumulated in the region that the ice is coming out. The issue with that is that with the shape of a square it is a lot easier for the ice to do that whereas with a more circular shape, it wouldn’t be that easy. All in all, I absolutely love it and if you want some ice pretty quickly, it is very quick. Typically before I go to sleep, I will put some water in there turn it on and in about 20 minutes I’ll go back in there and get about a full 20 ounce cup of ice ... show more

My kids love this icemaker. The small pellets are soft and chewable which is what they wanted. They have been running it nonstop for the past 2 weeks since they got it. Fits nicely on the counter next to the fridge.

Very disappointing. While it technically makes nugget ice, it's ultimately over priced crap. I ended up with an odd blue color as it was a lot cheaper than any others. Now that I have it, I genuinely regret buying it. 1. it's very loud. 2. It isn't well insulated so the ice it makes is always kinda melted and sticks together instantly. 3. when the ice is full, if the water is out, it'll turn off. so the ice in there melts. and then it goes back into what will freeze and be new ice, but now it's kinda gross cause it's been through the machine twice. 4. holds very little water so you have to keep an eye on it..... 5. Cost too much for me to prefer using ice cube trays. ... show more

Bought for my wife as a Christmas present. She uses it a lot. It makes ice fairly quickly (I haven't timed it) and recycles the melted ice to freeze it again. Mostly all of the water is used, so there us very little left when draining and cleaning the machine. Just a note here. Drain and clean after each use to avoid mold growth. Lots of negative reviews about this, but it isn't meant to leave running all the time like the higher cost machines. It's a bit loud, but not obnoxiously so. We make a couple of batches at a time and keep the ice in large freezer bags for later use. ... show more
