I bought this cute little anti-aging device for myself for my birthday. I'm pushing 50 soon and the the fine lines are starting to bother me. I was super excited to get this and waited all day for UPS to deliver. I got it home and unboxed it (it was boxed very nicely I may add!) Everything was in the box and intact. I read just about all of the reviews before I bought it and the manual once it arrived so I knew what I was getting myself into. I also bought some gel so the bugger glided nicely against my skin so I would get the full effect and make sure it was working correctly. Got it out, inserted the mushroom head and turned it on to one. Now, it's not a clicky thing to turn it up and down, it's more of a dial that glides. You don't see the neon & argon in the tubes but you can hear it so you know it's on and working. I made sure to put my finger on the glass to ensure that it was grounded before touching my face and slowly put it on my face and lifted my finger off and it glided like a charm (thanks to the gel). Decided to turn it up to 2, finger on the glass to ground etc. Wonderful! I even accidentally lifted it from my face and put it back on my skin without grounding and it was just fine. Well, I'm not exactly sure what happened after that. I'm not sure if my finger accidentally turned the dial up or if I decided to be brave and do it. I'm also not sure if I grounded the glass with my finger or just went all in and touched my face. Or maybe I touched it with my finger. I don't know, it's all kind of a blur. Whether it touched my finger or my face, I was not expecting the shock. That baby flung so fast out of my hands, crashed down into my sink and shattered the mushroom head into a bunch of pieces. I think I kind of stood there for a second trying to figure out what happened (it's been a week and I still don't know). I did read the reviews where people said it's sort of like touching an electric fence- and that's exactly it. It didn't hurt, was just more of a surprise. Kind of like when you find a weird bug or spider on you and your initial reaction is to fling it as far as it can go away from you. Thankfully my face is small and I can use another head for it to get the job done. Words of advice- start on 1 or 2 and use it that way for a week or so. I still haven't gotten brave enough to turn it past 2 but you can bet your keester that when I do- I'm going to have a nice soft towel in and around the sink in case my body freaks out again and that baby goes flying. If you accidentally turn it up and freak out and break a part- you can go to their website and order a new one, thankfully. (I have yet to do that.) In a nutshell, read the reviews and read the manual. Be brave! I do think this device can produce results over time. I just have to muster up enough courage to turn the settings up. I absolutely love this product. I use it for one minute, two times a week on problem areas and I have seen a vast improvement in overall skin texture. Line in wrinkle areas under eye area. I used it on a pimple and it was gone within 48 hours in reduced in within the first 12. You should definitely pair it with water base serum like hyaluronic acid. so you can get a gentle glide, as well as you should ground it by keeping one finger on it as you turn it on on the lowest setting then moving it to your face and removing the finger. Some people say they get tiny shocks from it if they don’t do this. I have not experienced that but grounding is best practice. ... show more

**Update: Product SUCKS!! Go buy a cavitation machine for $300 like I did! It’s amazing! It does BOTH the RF (that you can actually see and feel!!) and it ALSO does the 40K fat spot treatment (lip!)! My husband has used it for two weeks straight so far, and we’re already noticing differences! Can’t wait to see what 12 weeks does! I use the RF for my face, and I’ve noticed the lines on my neck fade just a bit, but again it’s only been two weeks! I’m excited for the long term effect and I’d never waste my money on this crappy product again!! It’s frustrating when we want to believe so badly that there’s something to help us with the “aging process”, only to learn that companies count on that and know we’ll believe them enough to buy the crap they sell! Start saying “NO MORE”! and take a stand to this industry selling us products they KNOW don’t really work!! Shame on them! Google all you can about the cavitation machine, find it at: myCHway (dot com lol) They have machines ranging from $200 to several thousand, but those are for salon use obviously. For $300, you can get the RF and the Lipo!! It works, I promise lol!!*** So, it’s only been a week, but it’s never lit up at all, directions do say that even without the glow it’s still working. It also says that the lowest setting works as well as the highest setting, huh? Why have higher settings then? Having to place a finger on it prior to placing on skin, isn’t easy to remember, that is until you get shocked enough that you won’t forget to do it anymore. I’m not convinced that it’s really doing anything lol. I rated it a two, instead of a one, but only because nothing was broken when I received, unlike several other people seemed to experience when getting theirs. I tried to use it for a single pimple, a week later the pimple is still there lol! Putting the different glass tubes in and out is also a pain in the butt, so overall I just don’t think that I like it very much. I’ve purchased a different machine for $350, and it looks amazing! I am willing to spend money, but only if the product is going to do at least HALF of what it claims to do! Unfortunately, I don’t believe this machine does even that. The only reason I know that it’s even doing anything at all (other than being loud), is when it shocks me because I forgot AGAIN to put my finger on it first lol. Other than that, even on the highest setting, I don’t feel anything at all when placed to my skin. Hopefully the new machine will be great and if it is, I’ll update this review with the info about where to buy it! Happy skin tightening my fellow friends! I know we’re all hoping and praying we find something that helps us age a little more gracefully lol! But this product isn’t the one that’ll save us, so it’s going back to Amazon sadly. 🥹 ... show more
