Being new to wearing these, I initially put them on wrong hands & thought they would not help but hurt even more. When I realized my error, I put them on correctly. What a difference! No more pain at night. These are made for just what is said in the description, to wear at night. The velcro holds just where I fasten it. The thumb area fits nicely. There is soft material inside so no scratchiness against my skin. There is good support on the inside to keep my wrists in place without too much pressure. And they are lightweight.     • Be aware - NOT for carpal tunnel as-is

I love this brace. The color is lovely, the fabric doesn’t irritate my sensory issues, it wicks sweat very well, and it’s sturdy and secure. It’s easy to hand-wash and dries quickly, and for the price I’m extremely pleased. My only correction is that unless you did what I did and remove the palm side support, it isn’t a carpal tunnel brace. Carpal tunnel braces don’t use palm side supports because they can aggravate the injury further by putting extra pressure on. But, the support is easy to remove and the fabric resists fraying if you cut it in order to do so. If the support came already removable I wouldn’t even mention it bc the palm side support is both comfortable and strong, it’s just not made for carpal tunnel. If you’re looking for a carpal tunnel brace: I cut a small slit into the fabric on the inside, removed it, and then whip stitched around the hole to keep the fabric neat. I probably could have gotten away without sewing at all, I just wanted it to be pretty. That’s really all it takes. If you want to be able to put it back in, there’s room to scoot the support all the way up into the palm so that you can leave a little pocket to slot it into when you need a different kind of brace. Just keep track of the support somewhere and it should work exactly the same as before when you put it back in. ... show more

    • Weak velcro, but pretty good overall.

I've been using these for months, and am overall fairly pleased. I wear them on both wrists while sleeping to alleviate nerve pain in my arms and hands. I find them to be effective and comfortable for that purpose. My mother wears them for a similar condition, and she likes hers as well. these fit comfortably and the structural inserts are rigid enough to give support without feeling uncomfortably bulky. The material is holding up well, and is lightweight and breathable. The brace I was using previously was a name brand and high quality, but the shape of the opening over the palm of the hand and the rigidness of the metal inserts made it uncomfortable. I don't have that issue with this brace at all - it feels quite good to wear. My only complaint is that the velcro straps have thin backing and are a little flimsy, so they're prone to detaching and then sticking to my clothes or blankets in the night. As they do this more and more often, they gather more and more lint which interferes with the velcro, which becomes even weaker and perpetuates problem even more. This hasn't caused the braces to come loose while wearing them, but it's annoying and wakes me up when I feel them catching on things. However, I don't totally fault the product for that issue because it's a universal velcro problem. Overall, I like these. I've machine washed them a few times too, with no problem. I have a lot of wrist problems and am building up quite a stable of braces. This is great for sleeping and keeping me from hurting myself while I’m unconscious 🙄. It’s very lightweight, but still has the curved wrist support bar. I could wear it during the day, but the qualities that make it light also make it less durable. There is always a trade-off. Pros: soft material for sleeping, no weird smell, comfortable but supportive Cons: velcro comes undone fairly easily, though it doesn't come all the way apart if you feed the straps through the slits. This is good value for the money if you think you'll only be using it for a few nights at a time. But if you think it will be months, I would get something sturdier. The velcro straps come undone multiple times a night for me. It doesn't come all the way apart because I fed them through the narrow slits, but it's still annoying. Also, I think this runs small.
