  • 5.0 out of 5 stars second time to buy!
Color: purple Capacity: 8.0 ounces
I used these for my son and now again for my daughter! I don’t use the bottle nipple that comes with the cup because my kids use MAM bottles but the cool thing is I can put the MAM nipple in this cup! I do use the sippy cup spout that comes with the cup and like it! This was the first cup with handles both my kids used! ... show more

The bottle was fine. I picked the color blue, and they sent me a purple one for a boy. The problem is not the bottle it’s the color he’s a boy.

  • 5.0 out of 5 stars Best bottle to sippy cup transition so far!
Color: Multicolor Capacity: 240 Milliliters
I'm in the process of transitioning my one year old off the bottle and into a sippy cup. He does not want anything to do with sippy cups. So, this sippy came with a spout & nipple (the nipple has bumps on it- I read it helps to get a toddler used to different textures in their mouths to help with eating solids). Well, since this comes with a spout I figured I'd try it on his bottle, so at least he'd be getting used to the feeling of not drinking from his regular nipple-which will help when I put the spout back on his sippy. It fit well on the Classic Avent plastic bottle without leaking & he didn't even notice a difference except that the spout didn't flow fast as the nipple he's used to. Hopefully this will help him to get used to a different feeling than the nipple he's used to, so that when i do switch to the sippy (just a different color & look from his bottle) he will be familiar with how the spout feels and accept the sippy. Of course this might not work, but it's worth a try! I also wanted this sippy because it is easier to clean than the straw one and the cap stays tight on so when my son throws it to the ground at least the spout won't get dirty. The handles don't come off like some cups that have removable handles, but that's alright. The handles are soft to grip and I am guessing this cup is 8 oz? I'm not sure yet because I haven't had a chance to fill it up. The times I've given it to my son he just pushed it away or threw it. We are still in the learning to play & accept his sippy stages. I'm confident this sippy will be a good replacement for his Avent bottle. ... show more

Color: Multicolor Capacity: 240 Milliliters
I chose for them to send me a random color as it was a cheaper option. I received a pink one... for my son. Nevermind that he probably could care less but I personally hate pink so you might want to pay the extra few dollars if you hate pink as much as I do. I couldn't return it right away though as we were about to set off on a roadtrip to Kentucky with my MIL. Halfway down I hear her exclaim in the backseat that the front of my son's onesie is soaked with water. The lid leaks 50% of the time no matter how tightly I screw it on. So now I have a pink leaking cup. Now on to the bright side. I do like that it comes with a nipple and a spout. I started him on the nipple and then switched to the spout. It took him a couple days to figure out that he had to slightly bite it to get the water flowing. The two handles on the lid are a good size and he is able to grip them. ... show more

  • 5.0 out of 5 stars Took some time, but they work great now
Color: Colors May Vary Capacity: 11 ounces
I ordered these bottles after having issues with Playtex Ventaire bottles leaking all over my baby's chin and neck and contributing to a neck rash. My 6 month old was using the fast flow nipples so I suspected that it might be an issue to switch to the variable flow. I also bought some fast flow standard nipples in case the variable flow didn't work out. When I first started with the Nuby bottles my baby would only drink 2 or 3 ounces before he got frustrated, I would then switch over to the fast flow nipple and he would finish the bottle. After several days of this, he eventually got to where he would drink the whole bottle with the variable flow nipple. So it took some time for him to get used to them, but now he is fine with them. I love that these bottles are 11 ounce because my baby is drinking about 10oz a feeding now. I also like that they come with handles and a sippy cup type nipple. There are not many parts to wash which is also nice. Using the variable flow nipple, my baby doesn't swallow much air at all, he barely even needs to burp. They don't leak at all when tipped over which is great. When my baby drinks, he will occasionally have a little stream of milk come out of the corner of his mouth, but nothing like his old bottles. I am really happy I was able to get these to work, plus my baby's neck rash is much better! I definitely recommend these bottles, but keep in mind it might take some time for baby to get used to them, so don't give up. ... show more

  • 4.0 out of 5 stars Great for transitioning to sippy cup
Color: Multicolor Capacity: 240 Milliliters
I bought one of these cups desperately trying to find anything that would get my daughter to use a sippy cup. This worked magically! It comes with two "nipples", one that is shaped like a nipple for a bottle and one that is shaped like a spout for a sippy cup. After only a week of using the sippy cup shaped top, my daughter was using regular hard spouted sippy cups like a pro. This was a genious product to help her learn the action needed for her mouth to get liquid out of a regular sippy cup while using the texture of a rubber nipple like she's used to. The only reason that this did not receive a 5 star rating was because the nipple was fairly easy to push into the cup while the lid was screwed on. I thought that my daughter had done such a good job drinking the whole amount of what I'd given her the second time she used it, only to find that she had pushed the nipple inside the cup and spilled the formula all over the carpet. The "third" stage of this cup is simply to remove the nipples all together and let them drink straight from the cup. ... show more
