Description

The National Public Seating BT1800 Series steel frame rectangular seminar blow molded plastic top folding table has a speckled gray, 72" long, 2" thick, UV protected, blow molded plastic table top, a steel frame that can support 700 lb. of evenly distributed weight, cantilevered legs, and folds for compact storage when not in use. This 18" size table is typically used for seminars or training sessions. The blow molded plastic top has a better strength-to-weight ratio than solid plastic or wood tables, is UV protected to withstand sunlight during outdoor use, and can withstand heat up to 212 degrees F so it won't be damaged by hot plates or coffee cups. The surface is lightly textured to increase scratch resistance, but is still smooth enough to write on. The gray steel legs are cantilevered and connected 11" from the table edge to provide leg room, and are powder coated for corrosion resistance. When the legs are opened, snap locks engage automatically to keep them opened, releasing with a push button for folding. When folded, the legs nest flush into indentations in the bottom of the table, making a flat surface suitable for stacking multiple tables for compact storage. Plastic glides on the feet help protect floor surfaces. The table is Materials Analytical Services (MAS) certified as low volatile organic compound (VOC) emitting furniture according to the criteria defined by U.S. Green Building Council (USGBC) Leadership in Energy & Environmental Design (LEED) 2009 for Schools, LEED 2009 for Commercial Interiors, ANSI/BIFMA X7.1-2011, ANSI/BIFMA e3-2011e Furniture Sustainability Standard - Section 7.6.1 and 7.6.2, Collaborative for High Performance Schools (CHPS) EQ2.2.5, and the MAS Certified Green program. This table meets the Americans with Disabilities Act of 1990 (ADA) Standards for Accessible Design. • Very strong table
Size: 5 Foot
The table was purchased to use at our Friends of the library book sales. Very heavy boxes of books are sitting on the tables (we have many). They work perfectly. And clean easily.

  • This year we decided to put heaftier more sturdy chairs on one side for my father and father-in-law ...
Size: 6 Foot
We have a gingerbread house making party every year at Christmas time. We have always put 2 29" wide tables together to create a large surface for the kids to make their houses on. This allowed us to have plenty of space down the center for candy bowls and plenty of space along the outside edges for the gingerbread houses themselves. We keep this setup throughout the Christmas season for other get togethers and Christmas dinner. This year we decided to put heaftier more sturdy chairs on one side for my father and father-in-law to sit in so they would be more comfortable. These chairs took up a lot more space than the folding plastic chairs we normally use. So I ordered this table to put alongside the other 29" table to give us a few more inches for the chairs. We still have plenty of room for plates or houses and food down the center. This table is extremely sturdy. In fact, it is heavier and more sturdy than the other tables we purchased at our local warehouse club with a 4 letter name. I have not measured it but it is the same length as the other 6 foot table and it's just a tiny bit taller. The reason for 4 stars is that the pins that pop out when you release the legs did not pop through the hole all the way so I will have to use a tool of some kind to push them back in to release them. We tried for 15 minutes to get them come all of the way out. The legs did lock into place. Purchase this table without fear. It is well worth the money. I will order another one to replace the two smaller 20 inch wide tables I put along an outside wall for drinks, desserts, and such. ... show more

  • Strong, sturdy & perfect proportions
Size: 5 Foot
I bought this table for a spot in my garage as a utility table. The space was long and thin next to my car and not being used well since I store water bottles on the floor. Turns out this table was the perfect fit for what I needed and it's super sturdy to boot. It comes in 3 different lengths, I opted for the 5ft version but could have gone for the 6ft one. I'm tempted to buy more of these for other spots in my home. A good buy. The good: • Sets up in a flash - pull it out of the box, unfold and snap the legs in place. Done. • Strong - It's not made from cheap materials and the metal legs and supports really are heavy duty. • Dimensions - If you need a long, thin table for a quirky space like I had this thing is perfect • Cleaning - The plastic table top seems like it will be a simple matter to keep clean. Spray and wipe. The Okay: • The legs were a tad hard to set but that's just because it's so well made. Once locked, they are not moving • A bit heavier than I thought it would be but again I'd rather have it be heavy and durable than light and junk' UPDATE: Three years later and this table is still going strong. Resists stains, damage and has become one of my best purchases on Amazon. No regrets at all. ... show more

  • The best quality plastic folding tables I’ve ever used
Size: 5 Foot
I use these as permanent work tables in a classroom. They are very high quality. Take up all the space needed for two students to sit and work comfortably and no more… very efficient size. Exactly what I was looking for. Highly recommended.

  • Perfect for my needs...
Size: 5 Foot
I was looking for a suitable table for our balcony. Since it is not very large 5' by 20', I wanted something relatively narrow and not too long. We use an electric grill outside during the warmer months and the table that we had outside was just not large enough to accommodate the grill, the food and the plates to put it on. I saw this table and thought it would be great so I ordered it and hoped for the best. It's perfect. It arrived very well packaged. There was an outer Amazon box and inside there was packing material and the table in a sealed box of its own. It is narrow enough that there is plenty of room to walk by and it holds everything plus my iPod dock. It's sturdy unlike those folding wooden tables with the hollow legs and a piece of formica on top that will quickly sink in the middle with only moderate weight. This is very well built table and I could easily sit on it and it would not give. There is a very clear ::click:: when the legs are locked into place and a nice addition is that there are grooves on the bottom of the table so if you fold it, the legs are not hanging against the bottom; they are tucked in nicely. The plastic top is not smooth but since it's plastic it should clean up nicely with a wet sponge. I'm very pleased with this purchase. ... show more

  • Once in a great while you might actually get what you paid for. In this case, I got MORE than I paid for and expected!
Size: 6 Foot
This table is quoted a crazy 700lb capacity... and I tend to believe it! These folks should build our bridges! I've never encountered any brand folding table of any size that refuses to bend, sag or buckle in the middle. Even those less than half the length of this 72" table. I have at least 350 - 400 lbs sitting on this table and it has not once shook, felt unstable, sagged or changed it's "attitude" as weight and items are removed and/or added to it. Thanks to it's (very) short leg braces I can also store boxes of product under the entire length of the table. A well designed molding of the underside of the table gives this table strength well beyond ANY competitors I could find (for as much and more often much more money). I noticed this Amazon price is a particularly great price on this unit straight from the mfg. as while researching NPS tables on-line, I noted prices are all over the place and that certain sizes can be quite pricey. Even at the higher prices I've seen, I wouldn't hesitate to buy more of this mfg's product. I truly believe this table will still be standing straight long after I still can... worth every penny! ... show more
