I have a 99 Ford F150 and it's important to remember that these older vehicles may require more for just a simple tune up. I replaced the usual spark plugs and wires but when the problem of bogging down and trouble gaining speed and misfiring was STILL happening after the $300 job at the shop, I did a little research and found this vehicle has Ignition Coils which are recommended to be replaced when ur doing your routine tune up!
