I load and unload a a 19 Foot Boat on my own which can be difficult when you get older. I installed these directly on top of my carpeted bunks in about 15 minutes. I wish the world would abandon Philip Screws, they are the worst. But that is my only complaint. Once Installed my boat slid on and off so much easier. Well worth the price and time to install. I used these on a 20ft pontoon boat trailer. I purchased 2x4's and painted them. Then coated them with fiberglass resin and installed these slide pads. I like it a lot better than the carpet lumber. Now the boat goes on easier then it did before. The only thing I would do differently is to use a different type of clear sealer on the lumber. ... show more

Had the bunks go on the trailer and no cypress nearby. So I picked up 2x6x10s at Home Depot and bolted these on. Wow what a difference! Loading and unloading the boat is very easy even in high winds or stiff currents where it isn't always easy to hit the trailer straight on.
