Even as someone who isn't a professional barber, I find it easy to get a decent fade, which used to be more of a struggle with my old clippers. This clipper set from Novah is excellent for the at-home barber/stylist. This set is very comprehensive and includes just about everything you would need to give an awesome haircut. The accessories like the cape and guards are average quality. Nothing to fancy, but look and feel sturdy. There are plenty of guides in this kit. The skeleton trimmer is perfect for highly detailed work. It's super lightweight and feels great to use. The bigger hair clippers are pretty lightweight as well. I like the digital display that indicates battery life and the two-speed options. The button interface is smooth and out of the way, but easy to find and operate. I like the small details too. Like the thoughtful hanging hook on the clippers and how the fade adjustment gives a satisfying "click" as it moves. EXTREMELY pleased with these clippers and Trimmer. Very good quality, and despite being battery as opposed to plug-in, seem to have power to spare. Really wide range of length attachments for the clippers (to go along with the built-in adjuster) will ensure to find the length you're looking for. I'm not a professional, but these are what I imagine "professional grade" feels like. They're definitely light years better than any other sets I've owned. Word of caution with the Trimmer: be careful! The blades are sharp, and this isn't one that will prevent nicks. I nicked myself a couple times with it first time using it, assuming it was like other trimmers I've used. Once you know what to expect though, it's easy enough to avoid that. ... show more

The large hair clipper was perfectly functional, pulled at my hair a bit more than my wired wahl hair clipper, but was perfectly functional, particularly for a cordless clipper. The small trimmer is pretty useless, IMO, awkward to turn on, awkward to hold, and awkward to use. There are far better versions out there for super cheap. In terms of attachments, it came with everything I'd want, except it was missing Left/Right Ear taper attachments. ... show more

You also get all the guards, the charging cables, clipper oil, a cape, a comb, and a nice carrying case. These are top quality hair clippers. I'm used to using Wahl Color Pro and these were definitely a step up in quality. I noticed that the combs glided through the hair easily and were sharp enough to cut the hair cleaning with just one pass. The clippers were also quieter than the Wahl. These positive attributes could be partically due to the fact that the Novah clippers are newer than the Wahl I'm using, but they do seem to just be better made and designed. I picked these up for my sister in law so she could start cutting my hair at my house. They worked perfectly, they tell you when to oil them, and have a clear power / battery meter so you know if you need to charge.
