Lightweight (very light and easy to use), sturdy (good construction, well made), stability (need to learn how to use, looks like all canes feel awkward and that includes 4 pronged canes, regardless of the size of the base. Best to try it out in a store and then buy online). Always try out many different types of canes before purchasing. Shop around. Then learn how to use it. We tried both large base and small base; and found that small base is best if you are small and short, while large base appears to work better with big and tall individuals. I purchased this for my husband who has many medical issues the one that impacts his balance the most is his diabetic neuropathy in his feet. This cane is well made and and he is also left handed and it was very easy to adjust the cane so he can use it in his left hand. The cane is well made and the fact that is stands on it own is wonderful. The only problem is when my husband leaves the cane in a different part of the house can can't remember where that was! I use to cane for help with walking. I would also like to mention that Nova has wonderful support. One of the leg caps was missing when the cane arrived. I called Nova and had a replacement within a week.

Excellent quad cane. On delivery, I noticed that one of the rubber foot tips was missing. Phoned Nova Customer Service. They quickly addressed the issue and will issue replacement pack of 4 via mail. No sweat.
