Looks like an expensive piece of furniture instead of the typical big and bulky massage chairs. Chair was well packaged on arrival. Easiest set up ever for a piece of furniture, no tools needed except some muscle. I was able to set it up by myself in less than 15 minutes and already enjoying a great massage. Most massage chairs are so big that it's awkward to place them in the living room, but this product is generally satisfactory in terms of design and functionality. In particular, there are many reviews that say that similar products have somewhat inferior massage functions, so I bought it after getting information through comparative reviews on YouTube (the massage intensity is relatively good). Before purchasing, my wife had a hard time choosing between caramel and dark caramel, but I think this color (dark caramel) definitely looks more luxurious. One more thing I'd like to explain is that due to the size, I thought that people who weigh more than 200 pounds or adults who are taller than 5 feet 9 inches might feel a bit small. The chair is stylish and easy to setup. I am just under 6ft tall and I cannot fit into the chair comfortably. I tried so hard to find a comfortable position, but you have to be short to use the chair. This item needs a height restriction requirement. It's going to be a huge pain to return.

My family is using a big massage chair for almost 10 year and happy with that. Since we cannot move our old massage chair to the 2nd floor, I was searching slim one. My review is ++ Add good point into your home interior + Massager roller pressure is strong enough from top shoulder to bottom = Simple massage programs = No leg massage = Compact size for slim body people only - my wife (5'3" 110lb) is ok but small for me (5'8' 160lb) = Less heavy than conventional massage chair but still heavy, still 2 people are required for moving - Air bag massage (for waist and hip) is not enough ... show more

I have an Infinity Riage CS and bought this chair for another location. Although I love the Infinity, this one has a distinctive look that avoids the oversized baby car seat design of many other massaging chairs. - the massage settings are much stronger than the Infinity chair with no option to change the strength. If you’re not sitting properly in the chair, the massage mechanism will surely cause discomfort. - The speakers are a surprising useful feature. I honestly thought that these were a gimmick. Once I connected my phone, I was surprised how immersive the sound is. The speakers are aimed toward your ears and it’s quite remarkable how good they sound while not disturbing others around you (at low-medium volume). -The build quality of the chair is excellent. It exudes style and quality with no loose threads or cheap materials. Although, the remote does feel plasticky and flimsy. -Most importantly, when the massager is not in use, it tucks nicely behind your head and you won’t feel any part of the massage mechanism (unlike the Infinity chair). This is probably the most important feature. Listen, I have no idea who Nouhaus is. They seem to be primarily a furniture company; not a therapeutic chair company. When you spend this much money on a chair you hope that it never breaks or requires service. That still worries me. However, if that does happen, it’s nice to know that this chair will still serve a purpose. It has a timeless modern/mid-century design that not only is comfortable but can class up whatever room you place it in. I can’t say that about the Infinity Riage. ... show more

Is the massage quality as good as it gets? No. But it's pretty good. For those who have experienced various massage chairs before? It's comparable. For those who haven't? They're probably a lot better than you expect. For me, this one does a good job with your back and glutes. It's just okay for shoulders and doesn't cover lower legs at all. But that ought to be pretty obvious at a glance...a glance that will also immediately tell you that this chair looks very different than most massage chairs. Is it as good as it gets in terms of looks? No. Not compared to non-massage chairs. But compared to other massage chairs? Yes. At a glance, it fits right into any living room that already has nice-looking furniture. It would fit right into any room with an Ekornes Stressless recliner or various mid-century pieces. On the whole? For what it is? It's about as good as it gets, imho. If you want to maximize design or massage, prioritizing one while completely forgoing the other? It's not for you. But if you want the nicest blend I'm aware of on the market right now? This is probably it. IMPORTANT TIP: If you buy one? Setup is easy but there's something extremely important that the manual doesn't make clear. When plugging in the remote, it *must* be properly aligned, with what they call a "tooth" (it really looks more like a tiny dot) fitting exactly into the associated slot on the chair-side. It will "plug in" without being aligned...but it won't turn on and you'll be thinking, oh wow, why did I buy something so heavy and difficult to repackage and return! Just unplug it and plug it back in w/ the "tooth" properly aligned, and you'll be good to go. ... show more
