First I’d like to say that I’ve had several styles of shoes/boots from Nortiv 8. I wear between a (US) 10 and an 11. With Nortiv 8, no matter what style, I can confidently order a size 10.5 and know that it will fit perfectly. This is the only brand I trust to fit right on the first try, every time. The only caveat to that is that some of their shoes are made of very dense leather and take a while to break in, until then they can be stiff and tight. With regard to these specific boots: I work in a factory and I’m standing/walking 8 hours a day, or more. These boots are comfortable with no fatigue. They slip on easily and hold my feet securely without slipping, other than the little bit around the heel that you expect with any slip-on boot. They’re relatively lightweight: a little lighter than my Timberland lace-ups that look like an athletic/hiking boot. The leather is soft and compliant. The soles have a tennis-shoe-like tread pattern and are confidently slip resistant - even in snowy/slushy weather and on slick concrete floors. Though soft and supportive, the arch support may not be enough for everyone, but the insoles are removable. As a bonus, they look so classy that I’ve worn them to semi-casual events like a company Christmas party and they looked perfect. Overall, I highly recommend these to anyone who needs a sturdy and handsome pair of work boots.     • Comfy and durable budget steel toe boots
First of all, I love the look of these boots. I have had many people compliment me on them. Some people even mistaked them for Wolverine’s. lol. The bad side: The pull on strap on the back of the right boot broke off the other day. I have been wearing these boots every day. Even for casual events that don’t require steel toe because I like them and they are comfortable. The strap is not that big of a deal to me because I wear my pant legs over the strap anyway. If you’re a person that leaves your pant legs inside your boots, this would probably bother you. Not that big of a deal to me though. So, good boot for the money, but if you’re looking for something that’s gonna last you a long time, you might want to consider something higher caliber. ... show more

I was skeptical because of the price, but I've been wearing these daily for about 3 weeks 8 - 10 hours a day at work walking on concrete floors all day. I'm very impressed with the quality and comfort. For $30 it's hard to beat. Leather is holding up and they broke in very quickly. I've purchased $200 boots before and still have to put in different insoles. Not the case with these, I figure even if they only last 6 months, still worth it to me. Not sure how waterproof they are, as I live in the desert, but I put mink oil on them anyway. ... show more

Right out the box. Pulled on the strap to put them on and the strap broke. Didn't even put them on all the way. Would say you get what you paid for but no this shouldn't be with workboots. Sending back right away
