I wanted to have something softer than concrete to land on if I ever fell when going down our basement steps. So, I got these tiles to mitigate a possible fall. The other I stumbled at the bottom of the steps, and I landed on a knee. I was glad those tiles were there.

My basement gym has a smith machine and I don’t drop weights so these are pretty good for me. They stay together pretty well and would be pretty good for a kid’s play area. If you’re slamming weights this isn’t a good choice.
