The perfect towel for what you need. We use it at the pool. Very convenient to carry to the pool and back. Lightweight for ease of use, yet very absorbent to pull away the moisture. I use it for gifts now for someone I that is hard to shop for.

I have no idea why it took us so long to purchase these towels. We've got 3 swimmers in our family who are in the water 5-15 times a week. You can imagine the hassle it is to clean and dry towels constantly not to mention the space they take up in a swim bag. These towels are a LIFE SAVER! They are amazingly absorbent, they take up almost zero space in a bag and they dry so fast! I would recommend them for anyone on that swims on the regular. Of course I've used mine for travel and it is awesome. I am not sure they would work for little kiddos that need a towel to keep them cozy and warm but for us they are super great. ... show more

While walking on the beach it was easy to tie as a sarong so I did not have to carry. The towel is wind resistant. It was a windy day it did not blow away or move. The towel does not pick up beach sand. When I returned from the water and picked up the towel there was no sand whatsoever! Tied back around my waist as a sarong and headed back down the beach. Good enough towel. Compact, driesy body effectively, but after a few uses, the color started to...fade almost. As the microfibers began to dislodge themselves, the color of the plastic bottles the fibers we're source from started to shine through. So my beautiful brown and black towel has little flecks of white or baby blue all over it. It just looks cheap at this point and I don't like that, since I paid $40 for it, which is the opposite of cheap for a towel. ... show more

My wife got one awhile ago and I had to get one for myself. It's great to stuff in my gym bag, car, or in my backpack. I do take this backpacking as a luxury item. It's nice to have while out in the woods and if things get too cold it makes for a good extra blanket.
