It's a great phone, very good. I just updated it to Android 13. I've been using it for several months now and I totally recommend it. The battery is awesome, I can work outside with it on a winter day with the screen on 3/4 brightness, and the battery makes it through the day. When indoors it would probably last 2 days of light/moderate use. The programmable button with dual-function is a nice touch, and works as intended. I don't use the fingerprint scanner or Google assistant so I can't speak to those. The camera FOV/zoom adjustment works well, but you'd need a Google One membership to access most of the photo filters. The one issue I have is the graphics occasionally choke when switching from one app to the next, the phone will freeze for a half second then return to the homepage. The apps aren't killed though, and it hasn't corrupted anything, appears to be purely a graphics issue. Happens a few times a week. I'm willing to forgive the graphics issue due to the phone's durability and battery, which were the main reasons I bought it. Overall 4/5 stars. ... show more

Positives: I like that the phone feels robust and will not break with daily usage. It is a big heavy phone, but that is okay. I like that it has Gorilla Glass so you are less likely to scratch or crack your screen. This phone also has wireless charging, but you have to purchase a compatible wireless charger separately. Negative: Nokia claims this phone comes with security updates but the one I received has outdated Security updates, and Google Play system updates (see screenshot). The one I received has build number: 00WW_1_240_SP02, which if you search online is now outdated and Nokia has since released to North America a newer build. I contacted Nokia support and they made me jump through many hoops such as clearing certain Google apps cache and restarting the phone, I reset phone from factory, they had me use a different network, etc. Nokia finally told me to just wait for the update to arrive. No ETA, just sit and wait, potentially for months? We are now in May 2022 and the installed Security update on this device is from Dec. 5 2021 and the Google Play system update is from April 1,2021. I DO NOT recommended this device until Nokia fixes this issue. The security updates are a main feature and Nokia has not yet figured it out. ... show more

This is the second one I bought, the first one I had to give to my mom because her phone crapped out. I wish Nokia was still making these phones. Fingerprint reader - it will read anything warm as a fingerprint attempt Functionality - updates are fine, but sometimes when I try to leave an app it gets stuck. & sometimes, the screen won't turn on cause it takes a few seconds to register my fingerprint or load idk Battery life - it lasts multiple days on one charge for me Camera - heckin sucks buddy, things are super pixelated and uglier than they should be Brightness - bright flashlight, bright screen, screen dimmer Features - it does bare minimum of what I need it to do Value - probably won't buy again cause it's so bulky and the camera really sucks ... show more
