Overall: - A great product definitely worth the money in my opinion. You can tell the chair is made with high quality and has an equal performance to match. Packaging: - The chair came packaged with ample foam and materials needed to keep everything safe and prevent damage. Assembly: - This took about 20 minutes, the directions were easy to follow with pictures and the chair included all tools needed as well as some extra screws. Material: - The materials used in this chair are a premium quality, including a cooling layer used to let the chair breathe. This keeps the user at a comfortable temperature and prevents the chair from getting too hot. However there is an adjustment period as the chair is stiffer than most chairs but I still find it to be comfortable enough. *Note there is a coating sprayed on the chair that creates tiny reflections resembling glitter. This is normal and is unnoticeable for the most part. Functionality: - This chair surpasses any other chair I have ever used in functionality. It has the ability to keep your back straight when sitting up close at the computer. This is way better for posture. The arm rests move up and down, forward and back as well as inward and outward. All of these features make the chair easily adjustable for any sitting position or making it level with your desk. Comfortablilty: - As previously stated the chair is stiffer than most but I find the chair to still have enough cushioning to be comfortable. Where this chair really wins is posture. It is designed so you can game or sit at your computer for hours and your back will not bother you from bad posture like in other chairs. It keeps you in a comfortable stable position the entire time. Also included are the head and lumbar pillows which are very comfortable and add even more support. They definitely add to the performance of the chair. Room for improvement: - I wish the arms rests moved back a little more, were slightly longer and had padding similar to the chair on them. They aren't bad but they could be improved. Additional items: - I also purchased the matching noblechairs foot rest. Paired with the ICON chair your gaming experience could not be more comfortable. They go together very well. The foot rest is able to be adjusted in several postions while still providing great support and proper posture. ... show more

    • For $400 I expected better ergonomic science and better quality control.
This chair came with a premium price tag of $400. I bought the black leather with black stitching to avoid anything showing dirt and grime building up. The overall look is exactly what I wanted. A professional looking chair that can lean back with a headrest. The GOOD of the chair is the stitching is fantastic and the PU leather looks and feels high quality. The chair is sturdy and adjustable. No extreme colors or design and minimal logos. The disappointments are that first and foremost, there appears to be next to no ergonomics in the design. There is no lumbar shaping in the back rest. My last char (A $60 bog standard costco computer chair) was bought for me by my mother when I was 8. That was 18 years ago. If it had a headrest it would be miles more comfortable simply because of the shape of the seat and more importantly the shape of the backrest. Although everyone is different, ergonomics IS a science. The backrest of this chair does not do anything for the natural curvature of the human body aside from provide a back pillow which (because it does not attach) cannot sit in the proper spot and always needs to be set back into place because it falls over forward each time you get out of the chair. In addition a pillow is a bit aggressive. Even if you could place it where you'd like it's still not right. The pillows are soft which is nice, but I can expect that the are going to wear out quickly espically the elastic band on the head pillow. I can see that tearing away from the pillow within a year. Additionally the chair comes with some cheap molded plastic parts to cover some of its mechanics. The one on the left side of my chair doesn't even fit right, which was disappointing given the price tag, and I had expected a little bit better quality control. This 'cold foam' is pretty stiff and seems thin. It's suppose to avoid taking the shape of your butt from repetitive sitting but my last chair just has regular foam, and after 18 years it hasn't given up. All said it's not an uncomfortable chair, but for $400 I expected better ergonomic science and better QC. Im not even arguing the price so much, it looks and feels like a $400 chair for the most part but there are several things that should have been made differently. ... show more

    • Super comfy, high quality cushioning, fixed the great amount of lower back pain I was having.
I never review products but after buying this chair a few months ago I felt compelled. I suffer from an old back injury and sitting for long periods (as one does as a lowly software engineer) often causes me great pain and stiffness. I haven't experienced a single bit since i got this chair and I pick it as my favorite purchase in the last few years. Yes it's expensive, but for me it came down to a question of what my personal health and comfort were worth (apparently around $350). The chair is firm and so comfortable- it comes with two cushions- one for the neck and one for the lumbar. I use both but the chair is comfy independently of these cushions. Overall it's pretty heavy, but that could be due to the fact that I have software engineer muscles. I have an adjuistable heiight desk that allows for standing but I never use it to stand. I just adjust it to the perfect height for me seated, then adjust the armrests to allow for a smooth transition of support form the desk to the arms. The arms are adjustable in both up and down, as well as sliding in and ourwards away from the seated person. They also angle in or out. My only complaint is that they don't quick reach far back enough. The chair is designed to withhold 300lbs, but I only weigh 155 so I think that maybe it was designed for a much larger framed person in mind. In spite of that, wow. I cant sing its praises enough. I often sit here when Im not doing work to recline and leisure read, watch movies on my monitor and maybe do a tiny bit or work. Edit: 1 year in- Ditto everything above, nothing has changed. No weird squeaking or pieces that have stopped working. Still feels like new, still saving me from serious back problems!! ... show more
