Inflates to full size as promised. Looks very creased at first, which naturally fades over a few days and some foot traffic. The shag is thick and comfortable underfoot when walking, but the padding is a little thinner than I'd like; it's not very comfortable for longterm standing without shoes. The texture is fine for walking, but feels a little strangely slick after extended skin-on-rug contact as your hands/feet start to sweat. It's nowhere near bad enough to be a slipping hazard, but it doesn't feel great. On the other hand, the rug has an unexpected benefit: it traps pet hair surprisingly well, which can be vacuumed up at leisure. I don't find furballs floating around anymore. ... show more

This rug isn’t thick, it’s a lot of thin materials forming a rug. The shag they talk about isn’t shag. Just fibers to create what feels like hand made. It’s definitely soft to the touch and feels good on my feet, but very slippery and I fear I will slip and fall. It also comes folded and shrink vacuumed so it’s in a box. I do love the deep brown color though. Aside from that I wouldn’t buy this again, as I think it’s a hazard to walk on. ... show more
