  • My best purchase for my kindle scribe
The media could not be loaded. it’s been a month since i switched from using the plastic nibs/tips that came with the kindle scribe premium pen to using the titanium nibs/tips i bought from amazon. it’s by far the best purchase i have made for my scribe ✨ as it’s given me the peace of mind that it won’t wear out unlike the plastic tips, especially with the amount of notes i’m writing. it also made me enjoy writing on the scribe more because it feels like i’m writing with an actual ballpoint pen. 😊 writing with the titanium tips also feels smooth and easy 👌🏻 *quotes from days at the morisaki bookshop and more days at the morisaki bookshop by satoshi yagisawa ... show more

  • Great Upgrade for Amazon Scribe Devices!
I bought an Amazon Scribe to be my business note taking device that also had library, book reference functions tied in to my Amazon Kindle account. The tight integration of this Amazon ecosystem device was what attracted me. I bought to top of the line version because I wanted to use every feature possible, including the included pen. I love the device and how the pen works seamlessly. But as much as I was using the device, I could tell I was wearing out the rubberized tip quickly. When I saw the metal tip option, I jumped on it. The metal tip works perfectly with the device and doesn't cause me to worry about the condition of the tip. It does take a little getting used to after using the rubberized tip, as it feels more like a ball point pen than a pencil. With a screen protector applied on the device, I do not worry about scratching or damaging the coated glass surface of the device. If you are going to use a metal tip, I would recommend applying a high quality screen protector first as a precaution. That said, I love the metal tip for the Scribe pencil. Highly recommended. ... show more

  • I didnt know I would need this but I am so glad I got it.
I ordered these tips based on reviews. I had not realized that after only a week of continued use [doing a lot of writing on my scribe] I had already put quite a bit of wear into the plastic tip that comes with the premium pen. I like the feel of this tip, as it is smoother than the plastic [the plastic/original tip had a pencil feel to it when writing] giving a more pen-like feel. I am loving it, as my main use for the Kindle scribe is writing. ... show more

  • No more consumable tips
If you want to be done with keeping a running supply of pen tips, get the titanium tips. I love that they never wear down. I can hold the pen comfortably without having to frequently turn it to keep it from wearing unevenly. These write more like a pen than a marker. They are noisier but I enjoy the clicking sound they make on the Scribe as I write. I avoid using the pencil function and other styles that are pressure sensitive, but I've had no scratches. Absolutely recommended. ... show more

  • Great nib; terrible removal tool
I picked up two kits from this company, one for the Scribe pen and one for the stylus I use with my Boox Lumi Max. The other one had a great nib removal tool that was easy to use. This one, for some reason, came with a terrible nib removal tool. I'm dinging a star it was that bad. I should have grabbed a pair of tweezers (or the other tool, or the tool that came with the Scribe, or anything else) and have done with it. It was just aweful. The nib itself is great. It gives me a nice bit of grit and resistance, the old pencil on paper feel. I have no idea why that's so important, but it just feels wrong writing smoothly on glass. I don't use a screen protector for the Scribe (probably should) and it doesn't damage the screen at all. I expect, now that I finally have it installed, I'm not going to ever need to replace it again. It's that sturdy, I beleive that claim. ... show more

  • The Best Upgrade For a Good Price
I love not having a dull pen nib now! I do also have a screen protector on so I can't speak to whether or not it would leave scratches in the regular screen because I was worried about that I didn't even want to risk it, I haven't even noticed any scratches on the screen protector so that makes me think it would probably be okay on the screen without any protection, but like I said I can't be sure. ... show more

  • Doesn't Wear Out!
The plastic Kindle Scribe nibs wear down pretty easily, especially if you are a forceful writer. I use my Scribe a lot for notetaking and needed a nib that was more durable as the plastic nibs wear down pretty quickly. The No Wore Out Titanium Alloy Replacement nibs have been fantastic and really don't wear out! I would definitely recommend! ... show more

  • Excellent Replacement for Plastic Nibs
I generally don't apply heavy pressure when writing with a normal pen/pencil, but I was having to replace the plastic nibs (original ones that came with Kindle Scribe) at least 2x per week! I switched to this metal tip a couple of weeks ago and I haven't had to replace it once! I did purchase a screen protector for my Scribe just in case, and so far I'm not seeing any scratches or damage from using the metal tip. These tips write just as smoothly as the original nibs, even with the screen protector on. I'm very happy with my purchase so far and would highly recommend these if you find yourself burning through the original nibs. ... show more
