Folks, no other flashlight I've seen has a lighted display screen that shows not only the current lumen brightness but how long the power will last at the current setting! Very useful intel to know. Along with 5 power levels and a max of 4,000 lumen turbo that is astonishingly bright let alone from a flashlight on my key ring! Remarkable! Plus, the internal Li-Ion power source is so convenient too. No need to swap out batteries, I just plug mine into my laptop while checking email. I have a large collection of flashlights but I never carried one with me even though I wanted to, until I purchased the Nitecore TUP 1,000 lumen flashlight 2 years ago. I've always carried it with me on my key ring since and now I've upgraded to this one with "4X the power" but no larger in size! That's incredible! As is the lockout feature that prohibits the accidental turn on of this flashlight! Ingenious! So ask yourself if it would be convenient to have a flashlight with you at ALL times (not in a drawer at home/work or in your glove compartment in your car because they're too bulky to carry), one that simply fits on your key ring (but is conveniently removable with a spring latch), multiple power settings and a max of 4,000 lumens!!! I have a problem though ...what do I do with the TUP 1,000 I replaced that looks brand new and works like it too? I only write reviews for purchases I truly believe in ...try this and you'll join me! ... show more

This is (or was in my case) a great little light! I'm in quality control and inspection and for me it was great! Guys at my work were very impressed with it when I would come out and use it to see in dark areas that were hard to see and get to with a larger light. You could really see everything with this light and no longer than i needed to illuminate it made it ideal for what I do. Alas it was too good to be true because a week after I purchased it I must have sat it down somewhere and now it's gone. Be aware that if you get distracted and lay it down you may never find it again. Best to keep it on a retracting key chain if your prone to losing things. I can say that I really enjoyed the little light while I had it and I think it is worth trying out. The battery held charge for a good long time even though I was using it constantly. I definitely would recommend for people who need a bright light. I'll miss mine but I learned a valuable lesson about not setting something so small down and then losing it. Especially when you consider how much it cost. ... show more

    • Very dissapointed with this flashlight.
I am very dissapointed with this flashlight. I bought this solely for the 4,000 Lumen function. First big problem is that the 4,000 Lumen function does not work at all - There is no difference between 200 Lumens and 4,000 Lumens. So I paid almost $100 for a 200 Lumen flashlight. That is a ripoff! Second big problem is that this flashlight is not intended to work at 4,000 Lumens constantly - it is only intended to work in short bursts at 4,000 Lumens, in "Turbo" mode. The description of this item does not say anything about 4,000 Lumens only working in limited Turbo mode - MISLEADING, MISLEADING, MISLEADING! Bottom line is that even if the 4,000 Lumen function worked (which it does NOT), it would only be available on a limited basis, not described in the item description. This flashlight looks really cool, even for the hefty purchase price of $100. Unfortunately, it doesn't live up to the description. Not even close! I would give it zero stars if I could. ... show more

I seriously love this thing. It's so bright, definitely 4xs as bright as the TUP which I still love but find less useful completely! Of you're reading this review just purchase it. Remember that the 4,000 lumens only last long enough to blind an evil person for like 8 to ten seconds before you need to bring them down or flee. In my pocket it feels no different than the TUP. Maybe you'll feel the difference if you wear ultra skinny jeans leggings with pockets but if you owner a TUP and you're upgrading I'm guessing that's not your style and you'll unlikely notice the size difference. It's the best light for it's size, hands down, end of review lol ... show more

    • Great EDC light for all tasks.
This light is awesome. I keep it clipped to my truck keys and clipped to the inside of my pocket. Which keeps my keys from bunching up in my pocket. The light is super bright at 4000 lumes it lights the hole back yard up for the 40 seconds or so and the 200 lumes is perfect for every day use taking the dog out etc.. you always that it's charged by the little screen with battery voltage and you can lock the buttons out so it doesn't come on in your pocket. ... show more

    • Brightest Flashlight I Have
Love the flashlight. It is kind of big to put on a keychain but if can get used to it, it’s great. It does not do 4K lumen for very long but at 200 lumen setting it can last for almost 3 hours. The battery is rechargeable by usb-c cable. I also have a TUP and it’s good also.

I didn't expect much when ordering this but it has now become my go to flashlight. It sucks that you only get 4k lumens for 10 or so seconds but overall the flashlight is worth its price

This flash light is packed with tons of power. Super bright, and small enough to carry in your pocket. It was so great my son bought one as well and he is a mechanic and uses it at his shop.
