I debated which size since according to the chart the Large fits a 45” chest but it’s a slim fitting shirt. However the X-LARGE is for 49” chest which is a big step up, so i ordered 2 of the Large. They fit, but they are a bit snug - not tight. The shirt runs a little long, at least for my husband it did. The material is not very thick but it is so comfortable.
