Emailed seller yesterday to see if I can get it replaced before Christmas. Haven’t heard back. Will update when I do. Also, just a tip for those lucky enough to get a working console, if you have a smart TV, you will need a Wii to HDMI adapter. Totally out my money because I waited to set this up. I needed an HDMI cable, then I needed a new wii sports game for bowling. I finally got around to setting it up and it won't accept/ grab the cd/game to start it up. So, it passed to the time to return ( I KNOW MY FAULT). Paid total of 140.17 for something that is broke and junk! Called the number and emailed on the card that came with it. Supposed to be ensuring quality. They never answered the phone or returned any VM. E-mailed. No answer to that either. So buyer beware. ... show more

My daughter wanted one for her birthday this year, and I ordered it. She remembers playing the Wii with her aunt many years ago. Unfortunately, I had no clue that games could no longer be downloaded online since the Wii has since closed down their online store. Games can only be purchased in person in certain stores, so just know that before purchasing this. Also, we had to buy a small box ($20) from Game stop to reroute the system to work with our T.V. since newer model T.V's don't have the yellow, red and black cable hookups. Both of the controllers don't work. The console is worth $119 by itself, and if the controllers worked it would be a bonus. I thought that the sensor bar was the problem. You could see if the sensor bar is working if you look through a digital camera and see the infrared lights on them. It's the first day that I got the Wii working, and the game that I bought for it is working. If the controller isn't working, try moving farther away from the sensor bar and/or tv screen. ... show more

First time purchasing an item through Amazon’s Refurbished program. It arrived packed well, in a HelloFresh box. Upon unboxing it was apparent that the item was not in “Like New” or even “Good” condition. It looked as if someone had pulled it out of their basement after sitting for 10 years. It was dirty, the remotes yellowing and scratched, one missing a lens. They were sticky and the buttons were crunchy. It did include a rechargeable battery pack and stand which was as advertised, and the only item “Like New”. I essentially had to refurbish the other items myself. There were carpet beetle larvae husks in the disk slot and the ports were covered in grime and dirt. The nunchucks were in “Moderate” condition, also seemingly untouched from storage. It turns on and for the first 6-10 hours of use has seemingly no issues internally. However, after the 3rd week of light use, it began having issues reading disks when first put in the console and has began crashing once booted up and in game. I know they source these products through different “refurbishment” companies so your order result may vary, but it was not a good experience and felt like an all around scam. ... show more
