I'm that kind of user that kept the Nokia phone well into the smartphone era just because the thing survived. One of the worst things about my smartphones has always been that the camera gets scratched very quickly and it is a pain to replace the lens cover. The whole reason is because the lens cover is actually glass attached to the phone. Every phone protector I have gotten for my smartphones never has a dirt and scratch protector for the exterior camera. This one has a wonderful one that swings easily and snaps into place nicely which also doubles as a little stand. It has an opening for the flashlight to still work so you don't have to have the camera lens cover open in order to use the flashlight of my phone. This is a nice little detail. I like how easy it is to snap onto my phone and the grip on the back is very nice and textured. The side grips are also nice because previous cases have slipped out of my hands due to no really side grips. The buttons to press easily and all the openings are at just the right millimeter distance to not cause issues with charging plugs microphones headphones or the side switch for putting my phone on silent.. ... show more

The unique camera cover is clever --- it also seems sturdy, so will have longevity. Case fitted perfectly; side buttons are snappy when pressed. My case (green) looks attractive and stylishly simple. Overall, 5 stars.

Ok so Its a decent case, but has a few rough points in my opinion. Pros Doesn't feel cheap Seems to be thick enough to well protect the phone Back has an almost corduroy type texture in the TPU material The camera cover is metal The USB port area is well cut out Cons The TPU material is a bit slicker than I like The top and bottom front edge can contact hard screen protectors and lift them The TPU around the mode switch is too thick Biggest issue, the casement around the hinge for the camera cover interferes with wireless chargers unless they are small and round. That bump will cause interfering wireless chargers and the phone to not sit flat (see the photos I attached). That can cause lower charge rates. Also sitting lifted partly away from the back in those cases the phone could easily slip off a charger and possibly fall. If you dont wireless charge then you might not care. ... show more

Recently got myself a OP12, and with that honking camera setup on the back I was happy to see an alternative to a bulky case with a plastic film protector over the camera that undoubtedly impacts photo quality. The case itself is good quality material, the ridges make it pretty non-slip in my hands and I love that the camera cover doubles as a stand and finger holder. The camera cover is metal as apposed to the plastic case, which is really nice and i expect the swivel hinge on it to last quite a while before it stops supporting the weight of the phone if it's being used as a stand and just falls flat. My only complaints are that I wish it came in more colors! I know the black and green are supposed to align with the phones available colors but I would love to see more. I also noticed on the back, the words around the camera are funny lol "INNOVATION • SIMPLICITY • PERFECTINESS" lmao so if the manufacturer is reading, maybe update that last word to "perfection" and it'll be good ... show more

Fits the one plus 12 great. Not to heavy, with a comfortable grip. The camera cover is easy to use and the added protection for the camera is reassuring. I can clean the lens, cover it and it stays clean and I can feel comfortable that it will not be scratched. Great design.

This is my first Nilkin case, and it's phenomenal. The material is grippy. There are ridges on the side for easier grip, and ridges on the back. Cutouts are precise. Buttons are elevated for an easy feel to distinguish them, and clicky. Camera protector is high quality metal, and isn't flush to the camera module to ensure impact won't break the glass underneath. Using the camera as a stand is OK, just have to find the right angle. The icing on the cake is the magsafe ring for magentic accessories.
