The media could not be loaded. Overall, these lights are such a great value for the price. Pros: - Very bright, easy to see anything in the bed of my truck - Easy to install - They can with a decent amount of electrical wiring to be able to splice into your project - Durable, weatherproof design Cons: - Anything here would just be a nitpick, these are really great. Installation Tips: - For the adhesive, prep and clean the area thoroughly. These stuck easily to the sides of my truck bed, but less so on the back of the tonneau cover box. This is because the tonneau cover box is a stippled plastic surface so its harder to adhere to. This isnt a fault of the lights in any way, and its easily solved with some epoxy or heavy duty two sided tape - Test fit the lights before you peel off the adhesive - For the electrical, make sure you use a fuse and wire it correctly! I removed the switch that came with the lights, and replaced it with a magnetic contact switch so they would turn on automatically when the tailgate was opened. You can wire these up in any way you like to switch them. Overall, these lights are great. I'm very happy with them and they've made it much easier to find things in the bed of my truck on dark nights. ... show more

Many of the negative reviews I read mentioned the adhesive strip not sticking well, and it doesn’t. That’s not a bug, it’s a feature. The adhesive acts as a second hand for the installer. The adhesive helps to hold long enough to guide and clip the lights. Grant it I have only installed these two weeks ago so longevity may affect my review later and I will update my review as time goes on. But these lights are a much higher quality than what I actually expected for the price. They are brilliant, they are bright, and they were pretty easy to install. I recommend tapping one of your rear taillights for power, as you presumably will have Bly be using them when you headlights are already on. Be sure not to accidentally tap the reverse light in the fixture because you won’t have power unless you are in reverse. No matter how you tap or where you tap for power, you will need either a multi meter (which are expensive) or just get a cheap hot wire indicating tool, I got mine at an auto parts store for $9. The self tapping metal screws make installing pretty simple but don’t over tighten because the clamps are soft like silicone which is also on purpose. I gave this a 5 star because price for quality great. I’m just waiting to see how long they last to report back here. I hope this helps the reader of this review. ... show more

I mounted these in a cargo trailer onto the roof supports. These light put out a lot of nice bright white light. However, they also seem to draw a lot more power than a previous set I had. The mounting tape holds them well, but the clips are fragile and I had half of them break while installing and one that was broken in the box. The power cables are nice with good connections, and enough cable even for a full size long bed to have some slack to tuck them away. ... show more

I bought this LED kit for the bed of my 2015 Ram 3500 short bed. This kit was better than expected in regard to initial quality. The LED strip is in a tough plastic channel which gives it protection and hopefully a long term install. I just installed these but they seem to be very nice and will hopefully hold up well. I tucked them under the bed rails facing out to spread the light as far as possible. In the Ram bed there’s a nice flat piece that these can stick to right up against the top of the bed rails. Since I have the gooseneck and fifth wheel prep package I was able to tie into the power plug inside the bed easily. Overall these took about an hour to install because of how easily I was able to hook to power. I would expect longer if you have find power elsewhere. The lights appear to be very bright and I’ve supplied a couple pictures with my tonneau cover closed. Cons - I wish the wiring was a little shorter going from one piece to the next and maybe supply an extension if needed. Also, it would be nice if 2 of the strips allowed power to pass through to the next strip instead of only 1. Basically you have 2 independent strips for either side and the 1 in the center allows you to hook 1 of the other strips to it. Then the 2 strips and the other 1 strip hook to a Y splitter to supply power to them all. It would be nice to start with power on one end and pass it all the way from one side the other. ... show more
