The media could not be loaded. Overall, these lights are such a great value for the price. Pros: - Very bright, easy to see anything in the bed of my truck - Easy to install - They can with a decent amount of electrical wiring to be able to splice into your project - Durable, weatherproof design Cons: - Anything here would just be a nitpick, these are really great. Installation Tips: - For the adhesive, prep and clean the area thoroughly. These stuck easily to the sides of my truck bed, but less so on the back of the tonneau cover box. This is because the tonneau cover box is a stippled plastic surface so its harder to adhere to. This isnt a fault of the lights in any way, and its easily solved with some epoxy or heavy duty two sided tape - Test fit the lights before you peel off the adhesive - For the electrical, make sure you use a fuse and wire it correctly! I removed the switch that came with the lights, and replaced it with a magnetic contact switch so they would turn on automatically when the tailgate was opened. You can wire these up in any way you like to switch them. Overall, these lights are great. I'm very happy with them and they've made it much easier to find things in the bed of my truck on dark nights. ... show more

Many of the negative reviews I read mentioned the adhesive strip not sticking well, and it doesn’t. That’s not a bug, it’s a feature. The adhesive acts as a second hand for the installer. The adhesive helps to hold long enough to guide and clip the lights. Grant it I have only installed these two weeks ago so longevity may affect my review later and I will update my review as time goes on. But these lights are a much higher quality than what I actually expected for the price. They are brilliant, they are bright, and they were pretty easy to install. I recommend tapping one of your rear taillights for power, as you presumably will have Bly be using them when you headlights are already on. Be sure not to accidentally tap the reverse light in the fixture because you won’t have power unless you are in reverse. No matter how you tap or where you tap for power, you will need either a multi meter (which are expensive) or just get a cheap hot wire indicating tool, I got mine at an auto parts store for $9. The self tapping metal screws make installing pretty simple but don’t over tighten because the clamps are soft like silicone which is also on purpose. I gave this a 5 star because price for quality great. I’m just waiting to see how long they last to report back here. I hope this helps the reader of this review. ... show more

This light kit is a great solution for lighting your truck bed. I have a Tacoma with a 5 foot bed and a Retrax bed cover so they were wary too long. I ended up cutting them down, then soldering on new leads to the trimmed pieces and mounting them vertically on the rear of the bed. I also used some aluminum L stock to mounts them to my bed tonneau canister. The good: - They are very high quality, water tight and very bright. The bad: - You have to cut them down and fill the ends with silicone. They should offer more lengths. - - As other have said, the tape on the back is total garbage. I used Goo Gone to take it off and replaced it with 3M tape. - The switch is not great either. I just wired them into my bed lights that are tied to the 3rd brake light spotlight. ... show more

I installed these around my truck bed and boy are these bright! It was a rather easy install but the 3M sticky back usually never can hold itself up. I don’t remember the last product I’ve purchased that had 3M sticky back and was able to stay up just by the sticky alone. I installed the clips to help support the lights since they wanted to curl back into the position of how they were rolled up. I was able to do this because I have a bed insert, so if you don’t want to drill into your truck then I wouldn’t use the light clips. Install was rather easy electronically. I used the 12v positive from the trailer hitch pin configuration and just tapped off that to power the lights. I thought about tapping them into the internal cab lights button that turns on the third brake light LEDs for the bed, but it was just easier to tap off the trailer hitch pins so I can have constant power to the lights and be able to turn them on whenever I want, even when the truck is off. I would recommend these for a nice led bed light option with a tonneau cover. It lights it up very bright!! ... show more

Looks very nice and lights up the bed well. I wasn’t able to install the clips because there is no easy way to get tools in the area I installed the lights however the self adhesive back seems to be holding well so far. The switch does not have any clear way to mount it. I used some double stick tape for attaching car molding and that seems to do the trick. ... show more

Great lights very bright but even after cleaning surface and using 3m adhesive promoter and blue painters tape for 2 days after tape is removed carefully they start sagging down put clips on now they sag in between clips otherwise very nice lights
