This will NOT fit a stock 2017 Wranger hitch (not enough clearance between the hitch ridge and chain plate It will work brilliantly with a hitch extension. I mounted these to a 6" hitch extension, and used a quick disconnect...so the lights and extension can be removed if I am going offroad. I can now see to back up at night!! This is very very bright. I had more than enough room to mount this. It was very easy to mount and looks great. I read all the reviews and they are right. Make sure you measure first. You have to clear bumper and the hole for your hitch pin. You won't be disappointed. Good price, great quality.

My overall quality rating is because the lights and bracket is exceptional well made and I wish it fit and I could have used it as is. Initially felt the 8" wires are way too short to reach possible connection points on any vehicle without splicing in extra wires. Short-sighted detail for such a high quality assembly. The real problem was with the saddle that fits around the receiver. I have a new Ford Ranger with a factory receiver with no rust or damage yet but could not get the two halves to slide on. I had to mill about 0.040" off the inside before it would slide on. Also the receiver hitch fits very close to the edge of the bumper so I had to remove material from the top of one half.. Once I got it to fit properly I found that it fit too close to the hitch pin making insertion and removal very difficult. Decided to fabricate custom brackets to fit existing bumper mounting bolts to avoid drilling the bumper. I probably should have returned it but the lighting and housing are good quality. I'm sure the brackets will probably fit other receiver hitches and bumper configurations but unfortunately, not mine. ... show more

I needed more light in the back of my jeep Rubicon. These particular lights had a very good price point so I purchased them. I’m very happy with their brightness. It’s kind of a unique way to mount them. Also I didn’t have to drill holes in anything.

The bracket does not fit ANY of my receivers. Does not even fit over my extension. Tube is too thick on one. Chain rings interfere with the other. Same on my jeep, chain attachment points interfere. Other one the bumper is too close to the hitch.... ect. Great idea, I love the idea..... did not work on any of my stuff, much less the one I wanted it for. Try it if you think it would work for you. Quality was surprising. But, although it said it fit my vehicle (2016 Tundra), it did not. The trailer hitch was the right size, but the weld on it was too thick. Vehicle was previously owned so I'm not sure if that's where the weld thickness stems from, but it didn't fit. As for the product, I was disappointed it didn't fit. I was eager to get these...more disappointed that the quality of these were so high for how much these were and I couldn't use them. :( I seriously looked at other options to mount these but nothing I felt comfortable with. I hope these work well for the next consumer. ... show more

It's a good product. I had one on my 2012 Silverado to use as auxiliary backup lights. I now drive a 23 GMC Sierra with the 2-in receiver hitch and the bracket is not big enough to go over the chassis of the 2 in receiver on the GMC. As long as it fits your truck it is a great addition because the lights are great and you can mount them in such a way that they don't drag underneath your truck. ... show more
