This will NOT fit a stock 2017 Wranger hitch (not enough clearance between the hitch ridge and chain plate It will work brilliantly with a hitch extension. I mounted these to a 6" hitch extension, and used a quick disconnect...so the lights and extension can be removed if I am going offroad. I can now see to back up at night!! This is very very bright. I had more than enough room to mount this. It was very easy to mount and looks great. I read all the reviews and they are right. Make sure you measure first. You have to clear bumper and the hole for your hitch pin. You won't be disappointed. Good price, great quality.

My overall quality rating is because the lights and bracket is exceptional well made and I wish it fit and I could have used it as is. Initially felt the 8" wires are way too short to reach possible connection points on any vehicle without splicing in extra wires. Short-sighted detail for such a high quality assembly. The real problem was with the saddle that fits around the receiver. I have a new Ford Ranger with a factory receiver with no rust or damage yet but could not get the two halves to slide on. I had to mill about 0.040" off the inside before it would slide on. Also the receiver hitch fits very close to the edge of the bumper so I had to remove material from the top of one half.. Once I got it to fit properly I found that it fit too close to the hitch pin making insertion and removal very difficult. Decided to fabricate custom brackets to fit existing bumper mounting bolts to avoid drilling the bumper. I probably should have returned it but the lighting and housing are good quality. I'm sure the brackets will probably fit other receiver hitches and bumper configurations but unfortunately, not mine. ... show more

Lights are nice and bright. Have it wired to a 7-pin trailer connector for use in reverse. Top part of the bracket looks about correct for my receiver, but the bottom hits my safety chain mounts. Had to put it around the hitch itself and use a small bracket to stabilize it in place.

Quality was surprising. But, although it said it fit my vehicle (2016 Tundra), it did not. The trailer hitch was the right size, but the weld on it was too thick. Vehicle was previously owned so I'm not sure if that's where the weld thickness stems from, but it didn't fit. As for the product, I was disappointed it didn't fit. I was eager to get these...more disappointed that the quality of these were so high for how much these were and I couldn't use them. :( I seriously looked at other options to mount these but nothing I felt comfortable with. I hope these work well for the next consumer. ... show more

I like the machined clean look but it was too tight to fit over my hitch tube. Luckily it's aluminum and I was able to take a grinding disk to the inner sides to remove about 1/16" of material from each side to allow it to fit snuggly. Both the upper and lower pieces needed to be opened up. I repainted and installed them. I think my only other issue will be attaching the safety chains behind the lights. ... show more

Overall, the product has an appealing look, however, it’s my opinion that the lights should be mirror images of each other so that the wires either both come out the outside or come out in the middle. And the thread to hold the clamshell together should be in the bottom half not in the top. The fact that the threads are in the top half means you have to insert the bolts from the bottom and if your lights are on there that can be problematic. This product is a nice addition to my custom flatbed. I use Loctite on everything instead of locknuts, and the overall result was very satisfactory. ... show more
