Nightstands Set of 2 for Bedroom End Tables with Charging Station for Small Spaces 2 Tier Farmhouse Night Stands Bedside Tables with Storage Basket for Living Room The two-pack of end table/nightstands come packaged in a heavy-duty cardboard box because this is fairly heavy. Packed right on top of the box is the instruction booklet, which I am always happy to see because it's a pain in the neck trying to dig for the instructions at the bottom. On the top, there are a couple of bags of hardware that all seem to be labeled with different letter designations. Underneath that is the steel frame and legs, and the angled shelf for the top where the power components go. The way that this unit is packed into the shipping box is well thought out and compact, with everything padded completely, so we received the units with zero damage. The instructions recommend laying out all of the parts first and making sure that you're not missing anything. One thing that we noticed when unpacking is that it comes with plastic shields on all the sharp corners to protect it during shipping. That is a very nice feature from the manufacturer because I've gotten furniture pieces in the past that have looked perfect on the outside but had crunched corners for someone who had dropped the box. The very first thing the instructions tell you to do is to make sure that you have all of the pieces and recommend contacting them if you're missing something. We laid out everything and match the pieces to the letters in the instructions, and had everything listed. They even threw in an extra bag of assorted screws and marked them" spare ". That's another nice touch because it's easy enough to drop a screw into the carpet and then you'd have to hunt for it. The supplies and hardware are bagged out very logically. For example, for the first step you have to screw the legs to the top, and the installation tool for that is in the bag with the screws. The same thing for the second step that used a different screw. We discovered that they are right in their instruction to not tighten everything until they tell you, because when you put the bottom shelf on, you'll need to be able to wiggle the legs so that everything lines up. The assembly went well. With two of us working on it, mainly me reading the instructions and her doing all the hard work on the first one, it took about 45 minutes to put together. The second one, since we are all already experienced went together in less than 30 minutes. As it was, there was exactly the right amount of screws and we didn't lose any so we didn't have to use the spare screws that came with it. Once everything was done and put together, the two units are quite attractive. She says they look cute and likes that the plugs for things are right there and will make it easy to plug in a lamp or clock, etc. ... show more

These take a minute to put together, but I love the modern look. I also really appreciate having the outlet and charging port. They are obviously veneer and metal, but unless you are going to a furniture store, that's what you should expect from internet furniture (and a lot of furniture now-a-days). It seems rickety until you put the top piece on, solidifying the whole unit. Pay attention to how you put this together and the pictures show you which way the holes on the metal parts are supposed to face. I had an issue where the 'dots' for the front plug piece didn't show which way to go. (Missing from picture). So make sure the last piece the screw holes are in the front. Unfortunately, when I did go to face it correctly that side had errors, so I just used a drill bit and made new holes so I could use the good side. Also you'll want to use an 'allen' wrench tip so you can use a drill to put this together. No way would I do this 'by hand.' These do have adjustable feet so you can adjust height if you floor is uneven. ... show more

These compact but super functional end tables have the perfect "farmhouse" feel to them, and the metal "screen guards" keep stuff from sliding off onto the floor. They assembled easily but be sure to pay attention to the directions or you'll find yourself having to "undo to redo" something at some point. The "wood" is pressboard, but feels tightly pressed and sturdy. Woodstain gives it a bit of a worn and "rustic" look, and while it's not oak or walnut, you won't be disappointed with how it looks. The plug unit they provided has a fully enclosed casing so there are no exposed wires or "shock hazards," and the usb ports have essentially become mandatory on electric outlets anymore and there are two of them on this one for convenience. I honestly cannot find anything to complain about. Putting it together wasn't too hard, but there are some folks who, anytime you must assemble it at home, are filled with anxiety and often have several parts left behind when they're finished, and those leftovers are considered "spares" by those of us with this tendency. Once they open this and see how easy it's going to be, they'll be able to breathe again, and your gift will not be regifted as soon as you walk out the door. ... show more

These go great with my current decor, but really, it would look nice anywhere. Set up was extremely easy but this isn't my first rodeo. All the outlets worked. Came in perfect condition as well

Update: seller contacted me and sent me a replacement. Customer service was excellent! Highly recommend! I ordered these and they just came in today. I put the first one together, no problem... it's cute and I love it! Couldn't wait to put the other one together, and that's where it all goes downhill. The predrilled holes on the bottom shelf are flawed and the screws won't tighten once they are in, they just spin and spin. ... show more
