This Night Vision Binocular comes in a nice hard shell case which I like for storage but more for transport so it does not get beat up by other heavy gear during transport which over the years has happened several times to things on me. It's has a nice camo design that blends in with things outdoors which is nice as this is not a tiny binocular. In fact it's size allows for all the optics, electronics, and 8 x AA batteries. Yes 8. So, you may want to start getting into rechargeables to both save money but have some extras to drop in as needed replacements and always have a set on charge. The listing says non-rechargeable batteries, but it will work with either. The other thing is this comes with an SD mem card so you want to make sure that is installed, then you are good to go. This unit has a good feel to it and the user buttons are top side with tactile feel to them to find and identify. Plus they have a low light blue illumination to them so in low light or dark you know what you are dealing with or trying to find. That is a real nice feature as some units don't have that. The buttons of course activate the unit and allow you to go through your set up menu, viewing, recording, play back, options, etc. This by the way can be hand held to use or put on a tripod with standard .25 thread hole on the bottom side where your focus dial is also at. If you want to hand hold the unit you have a strap to carry it with and also use to help stabilize it with. Now this can be used in daylight as well as in the dark which is what makes this thing unique over just regular binoculars, right? It has a large screen for viewing and you have about a 2,000 ft site distance with it that works in combination of your top button 8x digital zoom and you can adjust your IR light intensities. Of course there is a newbie learning curve involved before it can become second nature for you to just pick up and use. But after that if used enough you can see some interesting things with it day or night and capture your viewing too to play back within it or download for memories or projects.     • Work well for amatuers
These goggles have worked great for my amatuer use. I use them camping and on the occasional hunting trip, they are light weight and the camo pattern is nicely printed. They also come with a convenient molded travel bag making them easy to transport securely. The image quality is pretty decent and it is easy to toggle through different settings with the raised rubber buttons. Battery life is decent and I havent had any issues with these so far. I will report on longevity with more use. ... show more

    • Nice... But Very Expensive When Considering Quality and Specs
Anyone who spends time in the outdoors knows to move before the sun rises and after it sets. Given that, for awhile I've been interested in trying the various night vision products in the market to try find the solutions to keep an eye on animal movement before dawn and/or after dusk... without breaking the bank, After trying a few entry level products in the category I decided to snag a set of these night vision binoculars. First and foremost, these night vision binoculars check the boxes on comfort and portability. They fit comfortably in the hand, and they are lightweight. Additionally, the image quality displayed on the binocular screen is fantastic, even at 8x zoom. During daytime use, the screen produces 4k image quality that is crisp and clear at any range. During nighttime use, the contrast between objects is distinct and clear in most tests I've completed, which makes the unit effective for its intended purpose. As a result, these binoculars do a great job in monitoring wildlife when tracking, hunting, or fishing anytime of day. Another positive aspect of these binoculars is the ease of use afforded by the intuitive and well-placed controls on the unit. The buttons included are easy to interact with when using the binoculars, and the menus and controls are easy to understand and navigate. The use of the focus is dynamic, which makes it very easy to get a clear view of anything in the field... and snap a picture of it with the built in image/video capture feature and included memory card. The major drawback of these night vision binoculars is their price. Realistically, the build quality of these binoculars is on par with night vision binoculars that are half the price. The plastic used on the body of the unit feels incredibly thin, which may make it prone to damage or cracking if it takes a tumble in the field. Additionally, these binoculars do not come with rechargeable batteries. Rather, you have to load them with eight(!) AA batteries (not included) and replace them over time. The binoculars can get up to 16 hours of total run time from a set of batteries, which is decent... but the fact this can't be recharged like nearly every other set of night vision binoculars on the market is a major letdown. While this set of night vision binoculars has plenty of excellent features and 4k visuals the price, build quality, and battery setup holds this back from being a 5 star product. They still do a terrific job in the field... but I can't give them more than a 3/5 star rating. ... show more

Been getting the run around for the defective product I received. I am waiting on the seller to make this right. I would change my rating if the seller or customer service would help me. Seller corrected all issues and item was replaced! Well worth it for the money! Highly recommend!
