We have set the brightness fairly low and still manage to navigate our small bathroom easily. Initially I was surprised that they are as small s they are, but they actually look nicer being smaller in size. What I like about them is that you have the option to turn off and on as opposed to some night lights that blink on and off according to whether it is light or dark.
