I use them for drafting sketches at work. I like them because I see them as disposable so if someone breaks one or whatever no biggie . The graphite is weak and it's too easy to expose too much and break it when putting it back in. Also , the erasers for the end will wear down after two of three uses and get stuck. ... show more

Overall, so far I like the pencil set. Pros: Covers a wide range of lead thicknesses, supplied with a bunch of replacement leads and a sampler of colored refills for the 2.0mm, nice feel. Cons: The 0.3mm tip does *NOT* retract. Yes, it is stated in the ad, but the photos show it retracted, thus they get dinged one star. They are not quite as heavy as I would have liked. The barrel, and advancement mechanism are metal, but the rest of the inner workings are plastic. There is no built-in sharpener for the 2.0mm. Neutral: I haven't tried the erasers, or sharpeners, yet. The case is a bit hard to open, but otherwise nice. Overall, I'll be keeping these pencils and hopefully enjoying them for long time. ... show more
