My TaoTao carb had to be upgraded for high altitude (7000+feet) and the carb I had purchased did an OK job. Now back at sea level, that carb didn't work at all no matter how I tuned it. I read the reviews of the NIBBI Carb and saw that someone had used it on a TaoTao but a smaller size engine. I figured I'd give it a try. I was not disappointed. I did have to cut one screw (on the TaoTao replacement carb) down a bit to fit the NIBBI Carb, but that took just a few minutes. After mounting the carb and all hoses, I pulled the choke and hit the starter. That is something I couldn't do with the other carb. I always had to start with starting fluid. I let the engine warm for a few minutes and then took the TaoTao around the acreage for a few spins. The carb appeared to be tuned perfectly. I had no issues at all with acceleration or idle. After playing for a bit, I stopped and pulled the plug. The plug is showing gray, so the carb is rich. However, it's not affecting performance that much, so I doubt I'll swap out the jet. I may be able to just tune it down with the idle mix screw. For now, it's running great, and I'm very happy with this purchase and looks of the NBBI Carb on my TaoTao Rhino 250. I was having all sorts of issues with the rebuild kits for the original carb and issue with the aftermarket carb of the same style. I found someone talking about this carb on the Honda forums and figured I would give it a try with a pod filter. One thing to note if using on a CB100, the pod filter allows too much air and I used electrical tape to tape up 1/2 of the filter and used the largest jets that came with this kit (looking at the spark plug to confirm the burn was correct). Speaking of jets, the fact this kit comes with several jets is a huge plus! Once I got the air/fuel set and idle speed, the bike has been running great! I got 61mpg on the last tank of fuel and have plenty of power. ... show more

Bolts up nice. This is for educated installation. Spare jets and highly tunable. Stock came with 26mm, so this will limit fuel consumption while staying peppy. I'd buy again.

It's a tight fit,even with stock exaust valve cover.100 main,38 pilot,#4 on needle,1 3/4 out on air screw,bbr uflow it rips . Didn't see a difference running stock modded airbox.Works great with stock pipe,with restricter drilled out to 7/8",at head.Using Piranhas t4,pipe,and this thing rips.Pulls thru 4th gear.Do not,try a 22mm,I put alot of time tinkering with it,19mm,is much better with stock bore. ... show more

Installed this on a x-pro 125cc gocart. Really easy installation, simple to adjust and tune, and made a huge difference in performance (clocked the cart at 45 mph after the install). For the price, I can't imagine getting anything better. This is really well made!

Looks very nice and sleek. This will be my 3rd nibbi carb, I only have 1 complaint though. The main jet was way too tight and the threads are kind of damaged I haven't ran it yet but please take note.

I’m trying this out on a stock kawasaki klx140 with the airbox opened up. You’ll also need a flange adapter by Nibbi so it’ll attach to the stock manifold. I also shortened the air boot by 1/2 inch and reconnected it with an appropriate aluminum tube to help fitment and installation. After a lot of tuning it runs pretty well. I used 40 pilot, 118 main and the clip at 3 + 1 shim. This setting is for 40* temperature and 600ft elevation. In warmer weather I’ll probably go to 115 main jet.
