  • Hard to install on a Trailblazer 5.3 but work good
I needed to replace the plugs in a 5.3L Trailblazer. It's not bad for most plugs, but the #2 (passenger front) needed some special handling. To remove it, I used a normal 5/8 spark plug socket that has a 3/4 hex on the rear, then a short 3/4" socket on a flex head ratchet. To install it, I used a short piece of 3/8 fuel line over the plug to install it. I wasn't going to take the upper control arm off for a spark plug change. For the other three on the passenger side, I jacked the truck up and removed the RF wheel. I did not remove the inner fender. My old plugs were fouled and this had made problems with the wires, so I replaced everything and the truck ran much better. ... show more
