What to know about this gamepad foremost is that it's not the most comfortable to use, at least as far as my hands are concerned. I found myself preferring my switch pro controller over this, but in a pinch when I don't have it with me and took this instead, it gets the job done and you can play reasonably well. The programmable buttons underneath are WAY too easy to press. If you use them, you'll have to be careful. Annoying things can happen while you're gaming, particularly in Zelda. It was great for the price. Another thing to mention is that the left thumbstick came off early and I had to use a backup that comes with this joypad, since the first got lost. It probably has to do with the bag that I carry things in, but I wouldn't entirely blame that. The backup doesn't want to stay put, either, which explains a few things. I have to search the interior of my bag when I'm ready to use it and put it back on the left stick. ... show more

I bought this months after my right joy con broke. I’ve been limited to playing my switch docked to the tv (for the most part that was good but except for when my dad is watching tv and I’m wanting to play). I chose this controller because I liked that it would have the charging capability & looked more ergonomic than the joy cons alone. I’ve noticed that since using this controller that my wrists and neck are less sore when playing in handheld mode. The colors are nice and vibrant too. One thing I will say is that after the switch falls asleep I have to slide the switch up just enough so it disconnects from the controller and then push it back down in order to reconnect. However that could be user error because my dogs are the instructions! All in all love this controller for handheld mode. Using the regular joycons for the Switch can get quite uncomfortable, especially for long gaming sessions. This Nexigo wireless controller is so comfortable to hold. You can play for hours on end without your hands feeling any discomfort. Includes 6 thumbcaps and a pair of regular Switch adapters. Pairing this controller to your Switch is quite simple. [Update] After using for about a year, this started to drift too... =/ I even went and bought a fancy case to hold my switch and controller... I've tried to recalibrate but the issue still persists... what a bummer. [UPDATE 2] So I tried to contact their customer service, they had offered a replacement which i was static about. I paid $40 for this, then got a fancy case to accompany for another $30, so I really wanted this to work. Customer service gave me the runaround and never offered a replacement. So I adjusted my review and therefore am not recommending this product. (I also bought 2 other controllers from this company. I had a lot of confidence in this company but seriously not anymore.) After 5 years of using joycons on handheld mode I decided it was time to upgrade. Two reasons, joycon drift is still occurring despite a repair to Nintendo and my wrists are getting sore from holding the switch for so long. I chose this one because the color was pretty. Lol. It's light but a tad large for my hands. Not a big thing, but the D pad and L3 and R3 buttons are loud when pressing. I changed the settings so the optional back buttons are set to L3/R3, it's more comfortable for me too to press these. One thing I thought was kinda of weird was the side gap pieces. It should've just been built into the grip control. I've played with and without it and it's not making any difference. Last thought is I like that you can charge while you use. But it's not 100% smart. The switch has to be on first, attached to gripcon, then plugged into charger. Otherwise the buttons don't work. I learned this the hard way because I put the charger on, turned on switch from sleep mode and forgot I was in the middle of a boss battle and got whooped since none of the button inputs were working. Beside that, these are pretty good replacement for joycons so far. [Update] After about a month of playing, I noticed ZL button no longer works. Like a spring dislodged or something because it takes several press to work. Hopefully that will be the only issue I experience. ... show more

After a year of used the rear right side mapping buttons stopped working. It's a big dissatisfaction because it has a great texture and grip feeling but it stop working, don't waste your money

i got this item last night and played a few games for a few hours with it. it's awesome! my joycons were starting to give out on me, and this controller works better than my joycons ever have. reaction time is soooo much faster, i can even play fortnite on switch and keep up with my partner who plays on pc. i saw a review saying it may not be best for people with small hands, but i have pretty small hands but the controller wasn't uncomfortable at all. it's actually much more ergonomic and easy to hold than the joycons. super easy to pair with the switch, took like 10 seconds to pair it and start playing. wish i had invested in this sooner! ... show more
