After a lot of research, pricing high to low and everything in between, I purchased one of these to give the product a test run. I figured l’m only out $30 if it didn’t work as good as the reviews and tech specs indicated. Shipping was fast, product arrived in good condition and well packaged. The setup was so easy a baby could do it. The app for this device is trouble free, fast and practical. I have a large home and was worried that the camera wouldn’t connect to the internet at the farthest point from my router. At every location the unit connected, and it doesn’t have an external antenna, but obviously has an internal one that works great. The quality of the image is crisp, it tracks beautifully, and the multitude of setting options makes it totally customizable. Based on the performance of the 1st unit, I’ve purchased 3 more. Same story for each one, couldn’t be happier with their performance. I’ve got a 32gb micro SD card in each, but they offer a reasonably priced cloud option. Overall I'm fairly impressed with this camera, especially for the price. I added this one inside my home along with a different camera that I've had for a couple of years now. The video quality is nice and crisp, and the sound quality is much better than my other camera, especially when communicating with someone via the mic feature. I also like the subscription service much better than my other cameras. I like the shape and look of the camera, but the only downside to this one is that it is not truly a pan/zoom/TILT. The only "tilt" that this camera is capable of doing is thanks to the wall mount that it comes with, that you can tilt at different angles. The camera itself unfortunately doesn't have the option to tilt, but oh well. Where it lacks, it makes up for in other areas. ... show more

Update: I bought a new one. It lasted 28 days. I am sad to say, I will not be buying this camera again. This camera died after five months of indoor use in our living room, pointed at the front door, with motion detection. The quality of image and sound is good, esp considering the lowe price of this camera. I've been paying the $3 / month fee for cloud storage of videos, in case we need playback beyond a week's time. However, there were several times this camera would disconnect from the wifi (which was positioned close to the camera) and it would turn off for hours and sometimes days. Each time I could unplug it and plug it in again and it would begin working again. Now, it hasn't worked for almost 3 weeks, won't even turn on. I've done the troubleshooting, contacted customer service via their email and also phone number. NO ONE HAS RETURNED MY CALL so this camera and the cloud package that I have been paying for is now a loss. I am going to give this camera another shot and a order a new one bc the camera doesn't require Alexa or Google to operate which I appreciate, the price is affordable, and the picture and sound quality is good. I hope my experience is better this second time around and that the camera lasts!! ... show more

Day time view- great product for day time. EVERYTHING WORKED PERFECT! the camera shifted as movement was happening, The Image the camera gave is outstanding! (First Photo) I had absolutely no issues! even wanted to purchase a second camera for my front door. It always worked great while I went out shopping. Night Time- not so great for outside view unless positioned somewhere outside! I first had the camera set in a window facing the car once I checked night view it’s was HORRIBLE! every reflection of anything shows in the view (even a black out curtain) unfortunately. I now have placed the camera outside of the house which gives an okay view but it’s not really helpful as far as image wise goes. but it does work once placed out of the way of anything. (Image 3) I knew I was taking a chance purchasing the item and I do not regret my purchase I just wished there was a way to turn off certain functions with night view so it would possibly have a better image and no reflection of anything. If your able to use this outside I HIGHLY recommend (if it’s for outside use) do not purchase thinking it will be great for view from inside looking outside. If your wanting something to watch animals, babies, family INSIDE the house I also HIGHLY RECOMMEND! Last thing the voice on the camera is loud and works great! you can hear everything surrounding the camera and you can also perfectly hear your voice talking through the camera!     • Minor changes = minor irritation.
nexHT is now Ugohome, I guess. The app was changed since my first purchase, (I now own 8 of these), and not for the better. First and most annoying is the navigation. Originally you used a panoramic "mapping and/or finger swipe" now it requires left or right onscreen tiny buttons - over and over to get where you want. Next, installation: with new cameras, though the same model as before, you MUST use the new app. So I also had to load my old cameras back online via the new app. Not happy about that, as the navigation now is annoying for all 8 cameras. And lastly: for some reason when I activate motion-tracking on the new cameras (only), after 5 minutes of quiet sitting, they will independently return to the full left position of travel. All 4 new cameras. The old ones act properly and stay at the position left in. Needless to say, in order to watch my desired locations, tracking is off - which is not good for security. That said, these are GREAT cameras! I use them indoors and (sheltered) outdoors. Those even worked in minus 30 degree wind-chill!!! After using the first 4 for over 3 years, I did finally have to replace two that died. BUT the problem in both was a worn wire inside at the rotation base - which I repaired with solder and heat shrink!! Come on - $17 to $20 for a camera with good picture, durability and overall ease of use? No brainier... BUY THIS!! (Oh, and UgoHome: revert the navigation back, and fix that tracking problem, and you'll be perfect. Again). ... show more
