    • Well I got this with the correct connectios and nice case for the device
I was skeptical about buying this but everybody at the shops wanted at least $125 to tell me the the REAL meaning and NOT GENERIC explanation for the code on my CHECK ENGINE LIGHT on my 2011 Freightliner Cascadia. Well I got this with the correct connectios and nice case for the device. I plugged it and follow simple instructions and I got the explanation, not a generic code. This thing really amazed me. It gives actual temperature for engine ,RPMS and all other actual readings to compare to your gauges. I can say I actually got it for nothing, it cost less to buy than to have a shop plug it in. I have a DD_15 Detroit Engine . It also has the ABS info. It tells you all of the active codes and inactive codes. THIS IS A NO BRAINER. IT is so nice now to know if I get a check engine light I can plug in and find out what it is in mimutes and dont cost a penny to at least find out why its on. You can also clear the code and shut the light off. I think EVERY OWNER OPERATOR should by this, no more getting robbed by the shop that knows you have no choice to let them do it. NOT NO MORE... Connected to my 05 4300 dt466, read code but failed to clear engine codes. Live data feature is cool though.

    • Does not do what it says. Mostly does nothing.
It did read one Cummins M-11 engine code, could NOT read the Allison Transmission, nor could it read the ABS brake computer. The ABS was my biggest interest and I got nothing. Second biggest interest was AT and got nothing there also. Then I tried an 2006 crossover truck and amazed it would not find any way to communicated via the OBD-II connection. Since it only connected on one test, which was my lowest priority, I have other tools can easily read that. Buy a better tool from someone you trust. I do not trust these sellers. They delayed the return process and require I pay the return postage,,,, for a defective item. I thought I could trust Amazon to take returns. No this one. Find a better seller. ... show more

Ready to go in 5 minutes. Easy to use. Have a 2014 peterbilt. Tired of arranging a shop visit every time a code pops up, PB ready bad about not displaying results of codes without plugging in a diagnostic computer, at $110 - $150 a crack. Looked at code with a a simple description, cleared in 30 sec, now guage on dash working again. If you have a heavy truck you need this. ... show more

if you want to clear engine codes, it worked well with my F150, but if you want an all in one solution for a large truck this isn't the product for you, I'm a DIY guy and learned that after I bought it, the MIL light on my 2015 Freightliner122sd turned on and for a DPF fault this code scanner wasn't right for the job, it wouldn't pick up that code. I'll have to shop around for another for my Freightliner. On another note I went on the Nexas website and I don't think they update their devices, several products mention that no update is available at this time, who knows how good their tech support is. ... show more
