I love this little game cube box! It's shocking how easy it is to set up, and then the preinstalled games are fun enough. They have a yearly plan that allows you to open up all the games, and they keep coming up with additional ones now and then. It is so much fun that I even play with my 6-year-old granddaughter; her favorite is the dancing game. Heads up, it is a shoulder burner for sure. I am impressed that no equipment besides floor space and a well-lit area is needed. We are having so much fun with it, and even at times, you need to take a break and get a drink of water! The only thing, if it is a thing, is that the camera is very touching, and if your turn is up and someone else is in the camera view, it thinks it is your move and may make you mess up a bit. Everyone is really enjoying this game cube, played most by 48-year-old parent and 11-year-old daughter, mostly together but also individually. The system tracks movement accurately, is simple to use, and has been a source of fun every single day. We plan on getting a year’s worth of the PlayPass to augment the 5 games that come with the system. On the second day of use, the remote control stopped working, and then it wouldn’t pair with the cube. We unplugged the cube from the outlet, let it rest for 30 seconds, and then plugged in again. Then we could repair the remote and everything resumed working. Be aware that some other remote controls in your home may automatically detect and pair with the Nex Playground. To be sure this wasn’t happening to us, I removed the batteries from the other remotes to ensure that only the Nex remote would pair with the cube. The other remotes did not control the Nex Playground, but you might find that another remote will do dual-duty and also work for the NEx Playground. ... show more

This system is a serious game changer for our family. My kids love video games, but sitting and mindlessly playing affects their mood and behavior, so we have to put very rigid limits on it. We also struggle to find them good ways to release energy that they acruelly engage with. They’re often just flipping around the couches or sprinting around the house or flailing their arms around wildly lol. Since getting this, they have an outlet for all that energy that feels like a video game to them. Such a win-win all around! Bonus that the adults are loving it just as much. We played for 2 hours after the kids went to bed lol! The company is also incredibly active in their Insider Facebook group and takes feedback so seriously. Having 5 year old twins with autism them playing outside isn't easy but they are super active. This gaming system is so amazing for the energy they have. Not having to have a remote in hand makes it so easy for my kids with special needs to play! The fact you can see yourself on the screen with most games also helps with its being easy to understand. I love the Pepa pig game for the little ones esp bc there are so many games on that one peppa pig game that once u set it on there the kids can just keep playing withing getting off as long as they don't have the remote and the games switch!. I bought this for my kids (Ages 5, 7 and 11) for Christmas to get them off their tablets and up and moving and this has been their favorite gift by far. It’s even fun for adults and I enjoy playing it with them! I did buy the play pass to get access to all games and it is well worth it so I highly suggest getting the play pass if you’re buying this. I can’t wait to see what other games will be added along the way and really enjoy that there is a fitness app on here also! I took a questionnaire and it created a personal 15 day fitness course for me, tailored to my needs.
