This tool looks and feels nice, comes with a good set of blades and polishing pads, and battery life is decent. I really like its ergonomics. Not sure about its reliability for professional use, but for my DIY tasks it works quite well.

When I got the tool, it didn’t have everything that the ad said it came with. So I returned it as fast as I got it because of when I got it, it also didn’t work, and didn’t have a charging cord or charger deck.

Got mine with a dead battery that doesn't hold charge. Held one charge, that was it. Now have to buy new battery, which are hard to find for this brand, which I'm not sure I can trust.

    • An excellent value for the price, especially if you want a cordless version.
My hesitancy with buying non brand name battery operated tools is always if there will be a replacement battery available when needed. This is not Dewalt or Makita, but it is also better quality than say, Black and Decker or a Harbor Freight tool. I am using this for a plank vinyl floor install. The cutting tool is excellent for undercutting door jams. I am able to use other brand accessories as well, these seem to be pretty standard. Easy to switch out accessories, just lift the lever (it does take some force). I also can use this to do cutouts that are not straight (that last piece up against the wall. The LED light is great, you do not realize how dark some of the corners of your closet can be! This is probably not the tool for someone who works with it all day, but it works very well for the DIY homeowner. One issue, the battery charger shows green when charged, I thought it would actually go “up” the charging light, but it does not. The batteries are interchangeable among the products. This Newone Oscillating Tool works great! It is cordless - running on a 20V battery. I have used it for cutting some smaller cutouts in drywall. My wife has used a couple times on a few tight fitting PVC irrigation fixes. Battery life has been sufficient whenever we used it, but I do keep the battery on the charger when not in use so we always start with a full battery. This is an excellent kit too - includes a carrying case that fits everything - Battery, charger, and a variety of blades: stainless steel scraper blade, multiple sizes of high carbon steel cutting blades, a semicircular saw blade, and sanding pad with 10 sandpapers. I'm impressed with this tool - it has worked great and handled whatever DIY job I used it on. ... show more
