I am new to the world of hunting and bought this to be my all around set. The large is a bit loose even with layering but I would rather it be a little loose than tight. It is water resistant but definitely not water proof I would suggest another layer if the weather is going to be more than a drizzle. Wore this several times this season. Out in a tree while snowing and sleeting. Kept me warm and fits good. Was also out during a rabbit hunt in pouring rain. Kept me dry surprisingly the whole time. Sure thought I was gonna be soaking wet but nope. Lots of pockets.
