    • Unreliable product, terrible Customer support from Holley!!!!
I purchased this product from another vender last June, I installed it and all was ok for about 8 months and then it started acting up, after hours on the phone and dozens of emails Holley said I needed to send my unit back to the factory for diagnosis which I did. 3 weeks later I was told my unit had a failed ECU and that they could not return my unit until 8/15/22? That is what let me to purchase this item from Amazon, so now I am in about $2500 total, I installed this unit from Amazon and it would just keep shutting off and the display would say "Loss of communication to the ECU" That's is why I am returning this to Amazon as Amazon has a good return policy. ... show more

boght product may 17 of 2022 had to wait for other parts for my nova before mechanic shop could install all pats which didnt take place until late july early august. once all parts installed we started the car. let holley system learn then drove car for 30 minutes came back to shop shut car down tried to start again it never would start defectve holley sniper tried to return it wouldnt allow to return to long of a period for return i find that pathetic i went to our local speed shop in knoxville tn. performance products i bought the same holley system we installed it it works fine. i deserve a full return on the first one i bought ... show more

    • Fragile units, stick with a Carburetor.
I've ordered 2 of these, one was dead on arrival, 2nd was dead within 30 hours of usage, don't waste your time with these. They are extremely susceptible to emi/rfi interference and require hundreds of dollars in additional parts/shielding to run semi reliable. Don't believe me? Check the Holley EFI forum, the Sniper forum board has more than 10x the amount of post (33264 at the time of this review) than any of Holly's efi system boards, and every single one is a post asking for help with unresponsive, finicky, problematic issues. ... show more

so many problems so many calls to holley tech every time a different tech with a different solution. A holley certified shop told me not to buy sniper only by the terminator. tried to save $1300 but not worth it.

It had to be warrantied right out of the box due to a bad CPU.

    • BEWARE WE HAVE HAD SEVERAL BAD UNITS, WILL NOT WORK ON SBF OR CHRYSLER MOTORS
We have had several bad units. 70 Dodge Charger has random misfire caused by EMI from holley unit. El camino SBC shows 100% IAC and random TPS numbers. New IAC and TPS did not fix the problem. Had to get another unit. 1970 F100 SBF motor EMI problem from Sniper distributor. Holley sent us an MSD dual sync and mostly fixed the problem, but now randomly dies due to EMI. These units are garbage. We have been a hot rod shop for 18 years and these things are temperamental and will cause you problems ... show more
