Works exactly as expected. Used it with a HP Server PSU and breakout board. I run mine in power saver mode so my hashrate is a little lower, but it only adds like 20$ to the electric bill. This item shipped fast. It beat the power supply I ordered at the same from Amazon by 2 days. I ordered this from 2 places (newegg and amazon) on the same day and both were in my hands in 4 days. I setup the miners with a wired network connection first and then setup the rest on wifi. You go to findmygoldshell.com and it finds it but you have to have them on the same network. You need to repower the miner after you setup wireless for it swith to wireless. It went well from there. Being new to mining, I had to figure out how to setup F2Pool on one and also setup litecoinpool for this particular one. Side point, I have one machine on each and they have been going for weeks and litecoinpool is slightly better by about 10%. I ordered a Bitmain powersupply that can run 5 of these and I only used it a few hours. Its was too loud for inside the house. I had a computer power supply and found a bypass plug for it and use it to power both and its ultra quite. you can hear the fans but its not loud at all. I have them sitting on my desk blowing next to me and they produce enough heat that I don't need to run my space heater which I normally need when outside temps are as low as they have been. Right now, litecoinpool is making 0.01 LTC in slightly less than a day (22 hours for the last payout). That is $1.36 US when I started and $1.10 this morning. It will make somewhere around $35 a month at the current low rates. That will take close to 3 years ROI which is ok if they still are viable for another 3 years. ... show more
