Description

The Mojave Reptile Lounge features front sliding, glass doors for easy access and cleaning, a large, mesh screen top to accommodate most UV and heat lamp set-ups and vented side panels for optimal ventilation. This reptile lounge habitat unit is made with ECOFLEX®, a proprietary composite blend of recycled polymers and reclaimed wood fiber by products that make up a durable and moisture resistant material. ECOFLEX® is easy to clean and does not retain odor. This unit is not watertight and should not be used for animals that need to have standing water in their enclosures. The top of the unit is wire mesh and intended to support heat and UV lamps. Customers can place heat/UV lamps on the wire portion of the top of the unit. Heat lamps SHOULD NOT touch the ECOFLEX material please refer to assembly instructions. Great for indoor or outdoor use. A habitat made for tortoises, arachnids, chameleons, scorpions, hermit crabs, hamsters, guinea pigs, small rabbits. So I am very happy with the tank. Assembly was very quick(15mins) and simple. Quality seems great. Size is excellent. Design is great. Not sure how well it holds the heat level yet, but may need another heat lamp to bring it to level as it is much bigger then my previous one. I can agree with other reviews and see why some might want to silicone seal the seams. However I don't need to do that with mine. But I feel the tank is a great value for the size and quality. Putting it together was fine. You have to take your time and really look at the pictures. Some of the instructions are a bit confusing and they really could have used more details on some of the pieces/parts. Other than that, I put it together in about 20 minutes. It is very minimalist, lightweight but sturdy. On the inside, it really looks quite spacious and I think my baby beardie will be happy in her new habitat. The first one came broken because UPS put it on the edge of the top landing of a flight of stairs and it fell. Either they or a neighbor put it up by my door so when I got home the box was in shamble and panels broken on the inside. I was surprised to see the one thing that did not break was the glass panels! I contacted Amazon about the issue and they promptly sent me a replacement. I am now just waiting on UPS to pick up the damaged one. This is a great product and Amazon customer service was very good to me. UPS needs to do better with fragile items such as this terrarium. ... show more

Super easy to assemble. Took about 20 min by myself. Looks good. Feels solid enough. Came with no damage even though the box was kinda beat up a little. It should be plenty big enough for our bearded dragon. The screen top feels pretty sturdy. The sliding doors are actual glass. The locking mechanism should be plenty sufficient as long as you don't lose it. Seems like a good enclosure for a variety of different dry or low moisture reptiles. My only concerns/complaints would be the supplied screws. They do the job but are made of plastic, so they could potentially be a weak point eventually. All went in and tightened down fairly well except 1 that stripped, but I don't think it will be to bad because of where it is. It will also need to be sealed along all the inner edges if you plan to put any substrate like sand or dirt. It just doesn't seal completely on its own. Not really a problem though. It's a cheap and easy fix. Overall a pretty good enclosure for the price. Feels solid enough to last once it's set up. Would recommend for anyone needing a bigger enclosure on a tighter budget. ... show more

    • Convenient, inexpensive, beautiful BUT Caulk the interior edges before using!!!

This maple 4X2 enclosure is beautiful. So easy and quick to put together. Light weight as well. It took a while to be delivered. It works and does the job BUT…I would suggest to caulk the interior bottom sides. I use this for a bearded dragon. We all lov it but we had a hassle with a few dubia roaches getting into edge corners and “disapearing”! Lonnng story short after thinking they got into our house (imagine the time spent searching, freeking out researching and cleaning LOL they were hanging out in the enclosure the whole time…coming out of cracks at night!! It took me days to realize this because I heard two scratching around!!!! I had to take it out and take it apart one night and find the third roach😂. It was a hassle. Lesson learned and figured I’d share to save someone that headache. I imagine it wouldn’t hold sand well without being caulked…and def no water at all. Other than that it is perfect. ... show more
